The 2026 class has made its mark on the hardwood this season and should continue to do so in the tournament semifinals. Here are the 2026 prospects to watch in the county and conference semifinals.
Aiden Derkack Aiden Derkack 6'5" | SG Colonia | 2026 State NJ , 6’6 SG Colonia
Derkack has done a little bit of everything for the Patriots this season and should do it again in the GMC semifinal. The 6’6 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he elevates for dunks and can finish through contact. Derkack uses his size to see over his defender and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor. Derkack is a versatile guard prospect who should put his game on display in the semifinal.
Seamus Bieg Seamus Bieg 5'10" | PG Camden Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 5’10 PG Camden Catholic
Bieg has had a solid sophomore season for the Irish and will look to carry it over into the Camden County semifinal. The 5’10 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Bieg moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and is an underrated defender. Bieg is a sharpshooting guard prospect who will look to torch the nets in the county semifinal.
Quade Hendryx Quade Hendryx 5'9" | PG Burlington Township | 2026 State NJ , 5’9 PG Burlington Township
Hendryx has been a steady presence in the Falcons’ backcourt with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor. The 5’9 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Hendryx can also score in the mid-range and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He finds his open teammates in the halfcourt and gets deflections on the defensive end. Hendryx is a speedy guard prospect who should continue to make plays at both ends of the floor in the Burlington County Tournament semis.
Will Foley Will Foley 5'11" | SG Notre Dame | 2026 State NJ , SG Notre Dame
Foley has stepped up in a big way this season for Notre Dame and will look to continue it in the Mercer County Invitational semis. He wastes little motion in his shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Foley is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Foley’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help Notre Dame in the Mercer County Invitational semifinal.
Noah Shaw, 6’0 G Bayonne
Shaw has the potential to have a strong game in the Hudson County semifinal with his ability to stretch the floor. The 6’0 guard has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Shaw can also score in the mid-range and has an underrated handle. He is a solid rebounder and works hard on the defensive end. Shaw is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to stretch the floor will help the Bees in the county semifinal.
