Prunty is one of the top available players left in the 2024 Palmetto State. Jaxon made the move up the rankings from #10 to #7 this time around. Prunty plays with the best player in the 2024 Class in Cameron Scott and one of the best in junior class in Kaleb Evans.rnJaxon brings good versatility to the floor with his ability to make shots and rebound. He can rebound out of his area and handle the rock when needed. Prunty currently has over 1,100 career points in his career.
Can the Wildcats be the last team standing come March in Florence for the Class 5A State Championship?
Fowler is as TOUGH as they come. Will returned to action this season for the Rebels after being hurt over the summer. Fowler brings a blue-collar attitude and mindset to the floor. He has no problems taking a charge on command when called on. Will recently went over 1,000 career points this season for the Rebels.
Fowler moves from #35 to #16 this time around. He’s currently averaging 18.1 ppg, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a night for the Rebels (21-4).
Can the Rebels make some noise in the Upstate when the Playoffs start next week?
Bell has been consistent with his play all season long for the Redhawks. TJ is averaging 18.8 ppg this season for the Redhawks. Bell recently picked up an offer from Francis Marion University (SC) (NCAA D2).
Bell climbs up from #49 to #31 this last time in the 2024 Palmetto State Rankings. TJ plays the game with a good deal of confidence when it comes to his jumper on the perimeter. He will look to switch gears at times and go stalk the baseline for a easy two.
Cannon is averaging 17.7 ppg and 6.3 rebounds this season for the Predators (17-10). Connor brings good size and versatility to the backcourt with his play. Cannon currently has 1,226 career points entering the playoffs.
Connor made the jump from #50 to #35 in the latest updated rankings. He recently took a visit to South Carolina State University.
Edwards plays a bit off the grid down in Dorchester County north of Charleston. Ty’ree really likes to play both ends of the court for the Wolverines. Edwards currently has 1,013 career points for the Wolverines. Ty’ree is quick to the ball on both ends of the court and really takes pride on playing defense with his quick hands.
Edwards is averaging 19.1 ppg and 8 rebounds this season for the Wolverines (16-9). The 2A school in Dorchester have two wins apiece over First Baptist and Goose Creek HS this season.
He can get the ball into the gaps and touch the paint when needed. Edwards ran with Charleston Raptors last summer on the Grassroots Circuit. Ty’ree moves up from #60 to #50 this time around.
Dubose made a decision this week to play football in college at Presbyterian. Keenan nicknamed KD has had a solid season for the Falcons on the hardwood. He has jumped up from #82 to #66 this time around.
Davis plays over in the Pee Dee for the Auctioneers (19-7). Jomethrus nicknamed JJ is averaging 20.1 ppg this season. JJ really can find ways to score the rock for his squad. He made the up to #83 in this latest update here at Prep Hoops. Davis will absorb contact on the way to cup and get to the foul line a a good clip each night.
Medalie and the Armada at Atlantic Collegiate Academy have finished its season already. Atlantic Collegiate Academy will join the SCHSL next season and be eligible for the postseason. Sam and his mates had a great first season finishing the year at (20-2).
Sam really knows how to play at a good pace and set the table from out top for the Armada. He averaged 9.2 ppg and 5 assists this season. Sam makes winning plays from out top with his decision making and shot selection. He played previously in Tennessee before coming down to the Grand Strand last fall.
Medalie moves up from #158 to #92 on this last set of rankings here in the 2024 Palmetto State Class.
Highlights
Hollis makes the move up from #117 to #95 this time around. Markell plays in the Upstate at Gaffney HS (15-8) on the season. Markell a slender-sleek athlete is averaging 15.8 ppg and 4.2 rebounds this season. Hollis shows good versatility along the perimeter to the baseline with his play.
Roberts makes the move from #128 to #96 in this set of the rankings. Matthew is averaging 15.1 ppg and 3.4 rebounds this season for the Eagles (17-5). Roberts won’t overwhelm you with anything he does on the floor. He makes smart plays and decisions at times. Matthew is selective shooter and really understands on how to get his spots on the floor.
