Featuring a number of potential state and federation title contenders, the CHSAA ultimately went 4-0 on the day. A number of members of the 2025 class stepped up on Saturday and appear to be coming into their own right as the high school season winds down.
The four-star junior brought home game MVP honors after finishing with 13 points and 8 assists. Carbuccia has always been able to find his way into the lane but his passing and control of the game continue to improve. He had a touch pass late in the first half that was special.

The skilled face-up four man has burst onto the NYC basketball scene in recent months and for good reason. He can hit shots from beyond the arc, find cutters with surprisingly good passing, and he’s quick enough that he can get by his man. The tools are there for Harvin to be one of the best players in the state in 2025 and the flashes are really encouraging.
Ramirez finished with an efficient 15 points to led the Royals in scoring in their win vs Monroe. The 6-foot-4 swingman has been a good rotation piece for CtK for the past couple of seasons, but has begun to expand his game in the absence of his talented senior teammates at times this year. He is an tenacious and versatile defender first and foremost, but has shown he can provide some offense when given the opportunity.

Another PSAL star on the rise, “JoJo” led the way for Eagle Academy offensively. He’s a versatile scorer who can hit shots from range, take his man off the dribble, or score on the block. He’s also a high level rebounder, as he’s been averaging over 16 on the season. Look for his recruitment to pick up in a real way this Spring.
A tough rebounding wing at 6-foot-4, Margolin can both space the floor and play bigger than he is. He led Xaverian top a lopsided 61-37 victory in which he finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Highlights
Sussberg led the way for a short-handed Scarsdale side against Xaverian. He hit a number of shots in both catch-and-shoot and off the dribble scenarios. He’s more than just a shooter though, as Sussberg was able to create for his teammates and was a factor on the glass. Colleges would be wise to get eyes on the under-the-radar swingman this AAU season.
