Cooper Flagg is arguably the nation’s top prospect. At 6’9 with elite athleticism and high motor we’re seeing dominate performances on both ends of the floor. He’s a next level weak side defender with great timing as a shot blocker and guards every position on the floor. Offensively he’s a slasher who’s grown as a spot up shooter and pull up shooter. He has great vision for the position, is a phenomenal finisher above the rim, and has the intangibles to excel at the highest levels.
Derik Queen Derik Queen 6'9" | PF Montverde Academy | 2024 State #18 Nation FL is the best post scorer in high school basketball. The 6’10 forward is a bull on the block with some of the best footwork in basketball. He’s a monster rebounder who’s improved as an athlete over the last year. He’s an awesome leveled headed competitor who consistently produces as a double double threat.
Asa Newell Asa Newell 6'8" | PF Montverde Academy | 2024 State #29 Nation FL is a modern-day stretch four. He excels as a finisher with the length and vertical athleticism to finish above the rim in traffic. He’s green as an offensive rebounder and produces at a high level as a putback artist. Newell can space the floor out to the college three point line and has flashed the ability to create his shot during the summer. He’s a rangy rim protector who can high point the ball against some of the best athletes in the high school game.
Ryan Jones Ryan Jones 6'9" | PF The Rock | 2024 State #48 Nation FL has been sidelined most of the season with an injury, but his shooting and size are undeniable. The Virginia Tech signee anchors the paint as a rebounder and stretches the floor as a three point shooter. He’s a physically mature forward who was tightening his mid-post game before the injury. Armed with a soft touch and the stretch to carve out space, Jones held on to this spot and national attention thanks to the strong body of work.
