Carmel stuns Fishers
Last night saw arguably the biggest upset of the season and one of the few remaining unbeaten teams suffer their first loss of the year. The Carmel Greyhounds were able to keep their home-winning streak over Fishers alive last night when they defeated the previously undefeated Tigers 54-46. 2025 guard Alex Couto led Carmel with 26 points while 2026 power forward Evan Harrell Evan Harrell 6'8" | PF Carmel | 2026 State IN added 11 points to help the Greyhounds get their biggest win of the season. Fishers is now 16-1 on the year.
Jennings County 2025 guard Carter Kent joins 1,000-Point Club
We had yet another player join the 1,000-point club last night in the state! Down in southern Indiana, Jennings County 2025 guard Carter Kent joined the prestigious club during the Panthers’ 73-47 win over Connersville last night. Kent has had a real strong junior season as not only has he joined the 1,000-point club, he also broke the school’s record on made three-pointers, as well. He is averaging an outstanding 23.8 points a game this season for Jennings County.

The Vikings of Valparaiso extended to a 14-4 record last night with their close win over Munster 62-55. The story of the game comes from 2025 Jack Smiley Jack Smiley 6'2" | PG Valparaiso | 2025 State IN going off like he has done most of the season leading the Vikings with 26 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds in the victory, Smiley has been one of the breakout players in the state this season and as of this writing is averaging 23.6 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game this season. The play of Smiley this season has made the Vikings an under-the-radar threat in Class 4A this upcoming postseason.
