The 6-6 freshman forward stood out to me with his length and his ability to rebound on both ends of the floor as he finished with a near double-double despite the overtime loss to McKeel Academy. Wenze on the offensive end was a threat around the rim showcasing great footwork. His ability to get to his spots and have a soft touch around the rim has also improved since the start of the season.
The 6-1 senior point guard has continued to improve his game every time he takes the floor. Sessoms was electrifying when it came to getting by defenders to finish around the rim, finishing with authority. On the defensive end, Sessoms continues to improve when he guards on the ball and has a strong knack for battling for position on the glass. He has emerged in his recruitment process as he has received heavy interest from Flagler College, Eckerd College and several others.
The 6-4 sophomore combo forward took advantage of his size in the paint where he was finishing effectively on both sides of the rim. He also expanded his range where he knocked down a couple of 3-pointers in the win over Forest. On the defensive end, he took advantage of mismatches when it came to protecting the rim as well as challenging shots with his length. Madueme finished with a game-high 23 points and eight rebounds.
