After four days of amazing basketball, the Julian Holiday Tournament finished with Urban Prep Bronzeville winning the Championship. As any Tournament does we highlight the - All-Tournament Team selections.

Davion Worthy (UP Bronzeville) 6'1 2025

Sharpshooting guard for Bronzeville made several threes throughout the tournament. Davion was best scoring from the wing and the corner. His teammates knew he would be there spotting up. Defensively he is a steady on-ball defender who didn't let anyone get past him off the dribble. Worthy was the most consistent player for Urban Prep en route to winning the Holiday tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2318151' first='David' last='Thomas'] (Richards Career) 6'5 2024

David entered the tournament as one of the better-scoring threats in the city and he lived up to that reputation. Thomas is a lanky wing who scores well from all three levels with consistency. When Richards was down big they looked for David to bring them back in each game. He shot it well from three and had smooth pull-up shots from mid-range. On his drives to the rim he maneuvers around guys using his length and looked good finishing with either hand. He scored 20+ in each game and solidified his spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Terrance "TJ" Seals (Johnson Prep) 6'5 2025

As I tweeted earlier this week I stumbled upon maybe the best unknown player in the state again. TJ is a combination of size, strength, and skill. He has a mature upper body with the speed and agility to match. Seal's most notable skill is his passing. He zips the ball to his teammates hitting them in the right spot to score. TJ is a double-double machine as he attacks the rim with aggression using his upper body to blow through defenders. If he misses he has quick feet and often rebounds his misses. On the perimeter his shot looked fluid as well as he pulled up for a three in transition and it was all net. Seals is another prospect in the city that has gone overlooked because we just don't see or hear much about the noble conference. Let's hope this changes going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323613' first='Demarco' last='King'] (King) 6'2 2027

Demarco was been consistent all tournament. I can't remember the last time we had this many freshmen have an instant impact on the varsity level. King right off the bat is a phenomenal shooter who can play on or off the ball. He is poised on ball screens often looking to hit open teammates, but if they can't get open he gets to spots and knock-down jump shots. Demarco's game is only going to get better as we move into the second half of the season.

Alonte Reynolds (Ogden international) 2024

Reynolds was the top scorer of the whole tournament posting numbers of 3 games of 20+ and having a 31 point game as well. Reynolds is a shifty guard who attacks gaps in the defense. He's able to get to the rim with his sudden change of pace moves. A crafty finisher I've watched him hit reverse layups, teardrops, and floaters effortlessly. When Alonte can't get in the paint he has a smooth jumper that he hits from mid-range and the three-point line. Reynolds is an active defender who creates turnovers using back taps and by jumping passing lanes. His anticipation is key and he often turns those steals into easy points. Alonte is a college prospect for sure and hope to hear about his recruitment at the end of the season.
