1.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419810' first='Easton' last='McGraw'] (Indianola) - 64.3% (9/14)

The Indians lost a ton of production to graduation, hit harder than any other team in the state. That has allowed a lot of new faces, including a number of freshmen, to step into big roles, including McGraw, a 6-4 wing. He's averaging 8.8 points and 5.2 rebounds a game, and has shown the ability to score from all three levels.

2.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476940' first='Aidan' last='Harder'] (Norwalk) - 55.6% (15/27)

Harder has been extremely efficient to open the year for the Warriors, averaging 15.8 points on 55-56 shooting splits. A skilled guard with a quick release and really good off-ball movement, he has also provided Norwalk with some good secondary playmaking.

3.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765536' first='Cooper' last='Porter'] (Senior) - 55.2% (16/29)

Porter is part of a really talented 2026 group at Senior, and he has stepped into the starting lineup for the Rams and performed at a high level, averaging 7.7 points and 2.4 assists a game while scoring efficiently and protecting the ball. He has a quick release and shoots it really well both off the dribble and the catch.

4.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1978111' first='Jake' last='Pargeon'] (Urbandale) - 54.5% (6/11)

A 6-0 sophomore, Pargeon has come off the bench for the J-Hawks to provide some scoring, averaging 4.6 points and knocking down his open 3-point looks. Obviously the sample size is still pretty small, but he has a quick release and plenty of range.

5.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1376689' first='Cole' last='Arnold'] (Council Bluffs Lincoln) - 52.6% (20/38)

Arnold was a good scorer last season for the Lynx, averaging 13.8 points, but he has become a dynamic scorer this season, increasing his field goal percentage by nearly 16 points and turning himself from a 28% 3-point shooter into one shooting well over 50%. As a result of the markedly improved efficiency, he's averaging 21.8 points a game.

6.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381415' first='Trey' last='McKowen'] (Kennedy) - 51.7% (15/29)

A tough, efficient guard, McKowen is having a breakout junior year for the Cougars, leading the team in scoring at 16.0 points a game. He has done so at an incredibly efficient rate, as well, posting 63-52-70 shooting splits so far this season. He's a skilled lefty shooter who can fill it up from all three levels.

7.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1171660' first='Carson' last='Johnson'] (Ankeny) - 51.1% (23/45)

Johnson has been one of the best players in the state so far this season, averaging 24.1 points and 3.3 assists per game on 54-51-89 shooting splits. A quick guard with a picturesque stroke, he shoots it exceptionally well off the dribble, using his handles and footwork to help create a tiny bit of space to get his shot off.

8.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476975' first='Jackson' last='Green'] (Dallas Center-Grimes) - 50.0% (23/46)

Few players utilize off-ball screens as well as Green (pictured) does, freeing himself up to get great looks from the arc. He pairs that great off-ball movement with a quick release and unlimited range. His form is pure and he also does a nice job taking advantage of overly aggressive closeouts to get to the rim or the mid-range.

9.) 2025 Dylan Gloviak (Ankeny) - 50.0% (6/12)

Gloviak, like Pargeon, has a pretty small sample size, but he has provided some scoring off the bench for the Hawks, averaging 6.0 points and taking advantage of his opportunities with efficiency.

10.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2511598' first='Tenerick' last='Brady'] (Davenport North) - 50.0% (14/28)

Brady has stepped up and become the leading scorer for the Wildcats this season, averaging 11.6 points on 45-52-74 splits. He's an athletic guard who also impacts the game on the defensive end, averaging 2.2 steals a game.
