This is part 2 of the unsigned senior standouts from this past weekend's Grind Session in Philly. This article also highlights some freshmen and sophomores who had notable performances of their own.

Malvern Prep 57, Cristo Rey 62

[player_tooltip player_id='1173983' first='Amari' last='Dow'] wasn't able to elevate his team to a win, but he did some nice things. For a 6'2 guard, he's an extremely good rebounder. Very instinctive, he beat out bigger, stronger forwards on the glass. Four of them resulted in second-chance points (10 pts, 9 reb).

Fort Erie Academy 59, Accelerated Prep 57

Chidube Ekwommadu is a gamer. He came off the bench and immediately gave FEIA the juice they needed to win the game. Defensively, his ability to guard different archetypes in space on some possessions, then make rotations on other possessions was imperative. And on offense, he hit big buckets when they mattered most, leading both teams in scoring (22 pts, 4 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk).

Underclassmen

Nigel Adamson | 2026 Cristo Rey

The sophomore big man contested numerous shots, deflected passes, and pulled down double-digit boards in the loss (6 pts, 14 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk).

David Bottomly | 2026 Orangeville Prep

The opposing guard from Minnesota went at Bottomly, but in the end, he won the battle. He initiated the offense for Orangeville and displayed quick hands on defense (9 pts, 4 ast, 3 stl).

Patrese Feamster | 2027 Friends Central

With 28 points, Feamster had an incredible performance versus Chi Prep. All four of his three felt like haymakers as FCS fought their way back to win (28 points, 5 reb, 1 stl).

Darius McGlashen | 2026 Winston-Salem Christian

Despite not being a starter, McGlashen had as good of a performance as anyone for the Lions. Other than a couple dunks, he didn't do anything flashy. He simply played good basketball - attacking closeouts, cutting off-ball, selling out on defense, etc (13 pts, 5 reb, 1 stl).

[player_tooltip player_id='1406896' first='Marvin' last='Reed'] | 2027 Malvern Prep

Reed showed up in some big moments in their intense matchup against host Cristo Rey. He zoomed past defenders for layups and floaters, beat everyone loose balls or rebounds, and at-times overwhelmed the opposing guards with his defense (13 pts, 5 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl).
