<p>Washburn and South came into the Wednesday evening match-up with two combined losses. Minneapolis Washburn was 10-1, and Minneapolis South was 9-1. South came off a huge win over Minneapolis North on Monday. Washburn was victorious over Minneapolis Henry.</p>

<p>The game was tightly contested, South led at half by one, 29-28 but in the end Washburn overcame South to win 60-54.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1284167' first='Kyle' last='Jorgensen'] - The six-foot-nine-inch Colorado State 2024 commit was a monster on both ends for Washburn. Jorgensen showcased his abilities inside and out. Posting up to score, off the dribble, and stretching out in pick and pop situations to drain 3's. Jorgensen was also a strong presence inside on defense blocking at least 3 shots, came away with a few steals, and was the key rebounder.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2364192' first='Romero' last='Walker'] - Walker is a six-foot-eight-inch forward for South and was key to their success inside. The 2024 lanky forward scored 20 points for the Tigers. Walker showed skills at the high-post on offense screening, and did make slashing cuts for inside baskets. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1434055' first='Poet' last='Davis'] - Davis is a six-foot 2024 senior guard from South. Davis scored 17 points, had 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Davis has a solid mid-range jump shot, and usually has little issues getting to that space on the floor with his quickness. Overall for the season Davis is averaging almost 21 points-per-game. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2248727' first='Jumarion' last='Weh'] - Weh is a six-foot-one-inch guard from South who's having a very solid year for the Tigers averaging 17 points-per-game. In this contest Weh scored 11, and was active defensively with 2 steals. </p>

The six-foot-four-inch Bergren had 8 points for the Millers but a week ago put up his season high 25 in a win versus Minneapolis Southwest. Bergren showed some ability to make outside shots, score off the bounce and play well within the team defense.</p>

<p>Donnevan Okwor - Is a five-foot-eleven-inch point guard from the Millers. The 2024 Senior was very solid throughout scoring 8 points and being the point of setting up the offense throughout. Okwor does a good job pushing the ball on the break and doesn't over dribble.</p>
