Hogues has been one of the most valuable players on this powerhouse of a Sandia team. Earning himself a spot in the starting lineup over the offseason, Hogues has taken full advantage of his opportunities, and has solidified himself as a premier prospect in the 2026 class with his knockdown shooting ability and strong perimeter defensive presence.
Francois Satchivi Francois Satchivi 6'1" | CG Del Norte | 2026 State NM – Del Norte (10th Overall)
Despite a lack of team success, Satchivi has taken it upon himself to keep the Knights in every game they play in. He’s now a Top 5, arguably top 3 scorer in his class, and is only going up from here. Satchivi has shown his versatility on the offensive end, his ability to create off the dribble, and his two-way potential as he creates offense off of steals and fast breaks.
Julian Castillo Julian Castillo 5'10" | CG Del Norte | 2026 State NM – Del Norte (12th Overall)
Castillo has been a breath of fresh air for Del Norte, as he’s provided instant offense off the bench and in the closing lineup for the Knights. Castillo has come up clutch late in games as well, putting this on display in a game at Manzano, where he hit the game winning bank shot in the final seconds to propel Del Norte over the Monarchs.
Jerek Duda Jerek Duda 5'10" | CG Espanola Valley | 2026 State NM – Espanola Valley (15th Overall)
Duda’s time for recognition is long overdue. He’s been at the forefront of Espanola Valley’s success for a while now, and is one of the best pure shooting guards in the state regardless of class. His upside is tremendous, and will keep the Sundevils afloat in 4A for quite a while with his extensive offensive prowess and leadership ability.
Hunter Aime Hunter Aime 6'7" | C Albuquerque Academy | 2026 State NM – Albuquerque Academy (16th Overall)
Aime has unfortunately struggled with injury during the season, but over the offseason showed exactly what he provide for the chargers. At 6’7″, he’s able to use his frame to establish dominance in the paint, and has improved his finishing and touch around the rim. Once he returns from injury, he’ll be a key contributor for this squad and will help add to Academy’s killer rotation in their hunt for another 4A title.
Bryant Scales Bryant Scales 6'3" | PF Legacy Academy | 2026 State NM – Legacy Academy (18th Overall)
Scales has proven he’s arguably already one of the best players in all of 1A. He leads the Silverbacks in both points and rebounds with 11.7 and 7.3 respectively, and has taken over games for Legacy when they’ve needed him the most. Legacy floats at the .500 mark, but when Scales is on, the Silverbacks could surprise some people come playoff time.
Jordy Giron Jordy Giron 5'6" | PG Valencia | 2026 State NM – Valencia (27th Overall)
Giron has stepped up to fill the point guard role for the Jaguars and has done well in his new role as a starter. Giron is unselfish and is great at continuing the flow of the offense in order for the scorers of Valencia to get going. His patience and ball-handling are invaluable to Valencia as they slowly creep up the rankings and prove themselves as a legitimate playoff threat.
