Block Party at Sheldon

He's taken home two MOP awards in showcase events we've attended. The 6'1 guard looks for his shot using his dribble to create for himself and others. There's not a lot of hesitation when he finds himself open with a good look at the basket. He has the hops and strength to be a force in the paint. He'll gather rebounds, and points, along with a few powerful dunks at the rim. At 6'7 he's active and moves well in the paint, he does well running up and down the court, having some paint presence on both ends.  He's a target in the post area, turning and going up strong, he'll get points working for offensive rebounds taking it back up strong off two. He's a long wiry prospect probably still growing into his frame. He's shown a versatile skill set working from the top and on the sides. He has a skill set that continues to improve, he's a willing passer, helps with the team rebounding, he'll fill lanes in transition. He had one of the better performances on the day. The 6'6 wing repeatedly finished at the rim gliding in for dunks and points with hang time in traffic. He had transition dunks. He got rebounds, scored inside, handled the ball like a guard in transition with good passing up court. He plays under control with dribble drive moves that get him into the paint for jumpers, and different finishes. He played well throughout the game, but went into takeover mode in the 4th qtr, and overtime. In one of the better games of the day. The unsigned Senior guard showed his ability to get into the paint repeatedly using good handles, his body and strength to finish around the rim in traffic, sometimes getting to the free throw line. He had good dribble drives into the paint, for kick-outs. He's a pass first guard with good feel for the game. He'll shoot the 3 ball if it's there, he has a pull-up jumper in the paint. He's pushing and looking in transition after securing rebounds, his passes were good. He's been putting in work on his jump shot, knocking down 3's from the corners. At 6'6 we've seen him handle the ball in open court, facilitate the offense up top, he's a willing passer. Now he's showing us he can score on the inside  with good touch off the glass, using cuts to finish around the rim. He drove it from the baseline.
