Homestead High School
Anthony Reed is a long, athletic 6’2 lead guard. Armed with a ball on the string handle and a quick first step, Reed gets where he wants on the floor. He can finish above the rim in transition and at the rim in traffic. He’s not a volume three points and midrange pull-up shooter but can confidently knock down both when feet are set or when driving right. Has good vision and will make plays for others on transition. He’s a consistent isolation scorer who can get penetration in the paint. Reed has flashes of being a patient floor general who can turn on the jets to make the defense scramble.
Rodney Holmes Rodney Holmes 6'4" | PF Homestead | 2027 FL is another talented 2027 prospect out of the Homestead area. He’s 6’4 with a developing wing skill set and a big frame he’s still growing into. He’s a solid rebounder on both ends but really hits the offensive glass. He attacks downhill and powers through contact. Holmes has flashes of grab-and-go abilities and solid footwork in the paint.
Moses Ferguson is a 6’5 who brings energy to every play. He plays hard and uses his physicality to make up for being undersized. The senior is a good rebounder with the strength to secure his area. He’s a solid vertical athlete who can finish lobs.
Miami Christian
Christopher Ramos is a 6’2 guard who stands out with his playmaking and IQ. He’s a slasher who knows how to bring contact to the defense to get his shot off at the rim. Ramos is a good decision maker in drive and kick situations. He plays a stole of offense that teaches ball movement and off-ball movement. He’s a good offensive rebounder for the position who always has his hand on a scramble for a board. Ramos has a game that could lead to more free throw line trips.
Cooper City
Sehmaj Mentor is a lengthy 6’2 lefty guard. The senior can hit threes off movement, force turnovers, and make plays for his teammates. He throws passes with both hands and can score going both directions. Mentor flashes a consistent midrange jumper when driving right. Mentor’s defensive prowess starts in the passing lane, where his length and active hands turn into transition opportunities. He plays with his head up and knows where to place passes for teammates to finish plays.
