Holmes is a versatile wing with good positional size and a strong feel for the game. He handles and passes the ball well for his size, giving him the ability to create for himself and make plays for teammates. Most of his offense comes from inside the arc, where he is effective attacking the paint and scoring in the midrange.

Holmes averaged a double-double this season with 13.8 points and 13.7 rebounds per game for South Dade, highlighting his ability to impact the game in multiple areas. A big, versatile guard, he brings excellent size to the position along with strong vision and feel, consistently making plays for others and controlling the tempo. Holmes handles the ball well, sees the floor at a high level, and delivers accurate passes to open teammates. He is at his best attacking the paint, where he uses his strength and body control to finish, and he also shows a reliable midrange game to keep defenders honest. Expect the junior’s stock to continue trending upward this spring and summer with Team Miami on the Puma Circuit.
