Aleks Alston Aleks Alston 6'9" | PF Kenwood | 2025 State #170 Nation IL (Kenwood)
Current Ranking: #4
Alston is one of the most unique prospects in the class. At 6’10” the lefty has point-power forward ability as he is more than comfortable pushing in the open floor and has vision for getting others involved with his distributing. Good athlete that plays well off the bounce for his size. Has a sweet looking stroke and defensive versatility. It all comes down to consistency with Alston as he has every tool needed to be the top player in this class.
Mike Jones Mike Jones 6'7" | PF Chi-Prep | 2025 State #164 Nation IL (Chi-Prep)
Current Ranking: #6
Jones reclassified to 2025 from 2024 and opted to play at Chi-Prep. We have seen him twice this year posting a double double in both games. Strong and broad shouldered four man that rebounds at a super high rate. High energy big that is relentless on the offensive glass for second chance points, rim runs, and finishes out of the dunker spot. Improving as a shooter especially on the baseline. Good defender that brings athleticism and physicality on that end.
JT Pettigrew JT Pettigrew 6'8" | C Bolingbrook | 2025 State IL (Bolingbrook)
Current Ranking: #13
Pettigrew has been one of the top revelations of the first half of the season. The junior big man has been productive game in and game out. High level rebounder that high-points them in traffic. Finishes well in the paint out of the dunker spot and has touch as well on his post moves. Has a go to right handed hook shot. Swatting shots at a good rate this season along with being a switchable defender in ball screens.
Jonah Funk Jonah Funk 6'9" | C El Paso Gridley | 2025 State IL (El Paso Gridley)
Current Ranking: #14
Funk brings plus athleticism up front. The El Paso Gridley post is a super bouncy and rangy four man that swats shots with the best of them. Offensively he can stretch the floor with his shooting to beyond the arc, rim run for dunks, and is an efficient finisher around the cup. Quick to the offensive glass for second chance points.
Nick Allen Nick Allen 6'9" | C Bradley Bourbonnais | 2025 State IL (Bradley Bourbonnais)
Current Ranking: #15
Allen is posting up consistently big numbers as a junior. The Bradley Bourbonnais junior is a crafty low post scorer that is effective scoring on the block. Soft touch and good footwork in the paint. Rebounds well in his area and is a solid positional defender.
Dalton Scantlebury Dalton Scantlebury 6'8" | PF Lane Tech | 2025 State IL (Lane Tech)
Current Ranking: #17
Scantlebury is a PHI favorite as the big man can play either the four or the five. Anchors down low with hook shots and quick moves on the block. Stretches with his shooting to beyond the arc. Has been dominant as a rebounder all season with his long arms.
Jake Nosek Jake Nosek 6'8" | C Metea Valley | 2025 State #377 Nation IL (Metea Valley)
Current Ranking: #20
Nosek is one of the most interesting posts in this class. Long and lanky big that’s exceptional skill is his shooting. He can really make shots off the catch from the perimeter. Smooth and clean release. We would like to see more diversity on the offensive end and mixing it up more inside.
