Matt Schwartz Matt Schwartz 6'4" | SG Hunterdon Central | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 Hunterdon Central
Schwartz has had a strong senior season for the Red Devils as he’s shown the ability to score inside and out. The 6’4 lefty has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Schwartz does more than just shoot as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated rebounder. Schwartz is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets as the season progresses.
Corey Rust Corey Rust 6'2" | SG New Providence | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 New Providence
Rust has done a little bit of everything for the Pioneers this season, helping them to a 9-3 record so far this season. The 6’2 guard has a good shooting stroke and has the potential to knock down triples in bunches. Rust moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He has the ability to play with the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Rust’s ability to stretch the defense is something that will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.
Cam Brown Cam Brown 6'3" | SG Franklin | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 Franklin
Brown has taken a step up offensively as he’s shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc. The 6’3 guard wastes little motion in his release and sets his feet before he shoots. Brown is more than just a shooter as he can also beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the potential to defend both backcourt spots. Brown has three games this season with four made triples and should have more games like that as the season continues.
Trey Maultsby Trey Maultsby 6'3" | SG Pingry | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 Pingry
Maultsby’s versatility has been key for Pingry this season as he’s helped them ton 8-2 record on the year. The 6’3 guard has a good first step, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. Maultsby uses his size to see over his defender and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and get deflections on the defensive end. Maultsby’s ability to impact the game in a number of ways has helped his development in a big way this season.
Johnny Magner Johnny Magner 6'4" | SG Bridgewater-Raritan | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 Bridgewater-Raritan
Magner has the potential to have a big February with his ability to score inside and out. The 6’4 guard has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Magner rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and moves well without the ball in his hands. He has the size to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated rebounder. Magner is a hard-working guard prospect whose ability to knock down jumpers from the perimeter will help his stock in a big way.
