Josh Cox – 5’11″ / 2024 / Avon Grove / Combo Guard: Already a standout on the lacrosse field, Cox is now assembling an excellent senior campaign on the hoops court. This past week he torched a solid WC East squad for 30 points (5 threes) in AG’s triple OT win. Obviously, he can shoot the three. But Cox also is a versatile prospect who owns the speed and handles to run as a primary ball handler.
Cory Hogan Cory Hogan 6'3" | SF Conestoga | 2026 State PA – 6’3″ / 2026 / Conestoga / PA Hoops Academy / Wing: Hogan can splash triples, pop mid-range jumpers, and convert from the dunker spot. As a nice bonus, Hogan competes on the glass at both ends. This past week Hogan posted three double digit scoring games. Included in Hogan’s recent stretch of solid play was his 18 points (2 treys) and 7 rebounds performance during ‘Stoga’s victory at Ridley.
Sammy Jackson Sammy Jackson 6'5" | SF Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA – 6’4” / 2026 / Roman Catholic / NJ Scholars EYBL / Wing: With Roman’s No. 1 option ( Shareef Jackson Shareef Jackson 6'9" | C Roman Catholic | 2025 State #249 Nation PA ; older brother) out because of an ankle injury, Sammy Jackson Sammy Jackson 6'5" | SF Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA stepped up this week and produced two double-doubles. First was an extraordinary 19 points (2 threes) and 10 rebounds effort in a win over LaSalle CHS. Then Jackson posted 13 points (3 threes) and 11 rebounds in Roman’s defeat of Neumann-Goretti. On the week Jackson shot 50% from deep (5/10 3PA). Jackson also excels in the open court and can score via slashes to rim for a catch and lay-in.
Malachi Montgomery – 6’0″ / 2024 / Abraham Lincoln / Team Aztecs / Combo Guard: Montgomery tipped off last week by scoring 16 points vs. Dobbins Tech. He ended last week with a bang when he lit up Constitution for 35 points in Lincoln’s upset win. Montgomery if a lefty who can score in transition, hit threes, and create off the dribble for himself as well as teammates. His bag of dribble drive moves is extremely impressive.
Adrien Varella Adrien Varella PA – 6’2″ / 2025 / Holy Ghost Prep / Philly Revolution / Small Forward: Across HGP’s two wins the last week Varella averaged 22.5 point per contest. Highlighting his week was an outstanding 27-point (2 threes) effort against Bensalem. In addition to popping treys, Varella thrives in transition where he can finish with either hand. On defense Varella is a solid rim protector and rebounds well.
