Thomas as expected started the season off strong while posting a 19 point, 9 rebound, 8 assist, 4 block, 2 assist night vs. Millbrook on Wednesday. Get used to these kinds of stat lines from Thomas because the multi-faceted junior really does it all. A great passer and interior defender, Thomas hasn’t gotten enough hype over all the other parts of his game other than scoring and rebounding. What we think will end up being a lower level D1 recruiting campaign for Thomas might not come this season but it will surely see various offers and interest from many.
Saunders is a rising junior who is gonna turn some heads soon. Zane is an athletic forward that is comfortable inside and willing to shoot from deep while being effective at both. Saunders posted a 27 point night Friday in a win, including a shooting clinic that included 6/6 from three. Saunders has some great counterparts on his South Charleston squad and will help keep his production maximized this season.
