Bo Tallman pumped in 16 points including 13 in the fourth quarter to lead the Knights in a come from behind victory Tuesday. Tallman a first year starter at point guard has a great 10-12 foot pull up game and handles ball pressure very well.
Watts had an absolute monster performance Saturday recording 48 points including 12 three pointers and adding 10 rebounds. Watts who holds an offer from KCU is an outstanding two sport athlete and will have his choice likely of which sport he wishes to play at the next level.

Jeremy Phillips Jeremy Phillips 6’1″ | CG Frankfort | 2026 State WV scored 16 in Frankfort’s season opener. Phillips also added 3 assists and a steal. Phillips is a first year starter and after a strong offseason is poised to become a young leader on the Frankfort squad.
Brayden Helmick Brayden Helmick 6’6″ | C Notre Dame | 2026 State WV cranked out 21 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks vs. Parkersburg Catholic. Helmick is an imposing figure for the Irish and will likely have similar numbers throughout the season.
Maki Cary Maki Cary 5’10” | PG Teays Valley Christian | 2025 State WV had an impressive 21 points and 9 assists for TVCS versus big school opponent Wheeling Park. Cary who’s played at Huntington Prep is no stranger to competition. He also competed for the Pittsburgh based Wildcats AAU shoe circuit program.
Bryar Bailes Bryar Bailes 5’11” | PG Midland Trail | 2024 State WV dropped 25 on Independence in their season opener. Bailes is one of the hardest working kids in WV and has continually broadened his game and skill set. Bailes looks to be one of the leaders for his team in several statistical categories.
Max Wilcox Max Wilcox 6’3″ | SG Charleston Catholic | 2025 State WV had 18 points 4 rebounds and 2 steals versus 4A St. Albans this week. Max is exactly who we thought he was. Wilcox always steady and sure in his performances and is coming off a great offseason with WV Reign Big Shots and fall league with WV BlueChips sponsored squad.

Cole Lambert Cole Lambert 6’0″ | SG Wyoming East | 2024 State WV started the season on fire with 30 points 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Lambert already boasting an early offer from Concord, absolutely blasted out of the starting blocks this season and confirmed he’s one of the best in coal country as well as WV.
