The [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] Shootout over the weekend allowed PHI to check out some of the better talent from the Chicagoland area. Now we examine the prospects that did the best including here in [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] Shootout: Top 2026 Performers!

[player_tooltip player_id='1845352' first='Jamson' last='Coulter'] (Rich Township)

Coulter is a strong bodied power wing that has actually slimmed down some since we last saw him. Loves to put his head down with burst and get to the rim. Had several steals that he took the other way for scores as he is so tough to stop when he has a head of steam behind him. Capable shooter with a quick flick of the wrist hitting one each from mid-range and three. Scored 22 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552394' first='Andre' last='Tyler'] (Simeon)

Tyler is a highly ranked prospect like Coulter in the 2026 class. Athletic and lanky wing that turned it on at the end racking up the points late. Displayed a smooth three point shot, but also had multiple airballs in this one. Slick finisher at the cup that cuts well off the ball and had a few push ahead dimes in transition. Solid job rebounding for a wing while scoring 19 points.

Kas Nelson (Simeon)

Nelson is a name that caught our eye in back to back events in Chicago. The small forward brings a good frame and a high-motor. Got a loose ball rebound for a put back along with another second chance bucket. Hit a three. Showed potential as a defender. He had 9 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105396' first='Cameron' last='Mercer'] (Riverside Brookfield)

Mercer was excellent in their win against TF North. Really was impressed with his all-around floor game. The shooting guard dropped 21 points showing off his complete game. Got to the line at a high rate, hit a couple jumpers rising up over defenders, and defended very well on the perimeter creating turnovers in bunches. Intriguing prospect!

[player_tooltip player_id='2298580' first='Kaydin' last='Williams'] (Lindblom)

First look at Williams and we saw some stuff to build on. Plus shooter from three with a strong frame as he notched 14 points including three from distance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552436' first='Karson' last='Thomas'] (Lincoln Way East)

Thomas opened our eyes more to his upside at Pangos and had another solid showing at [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] against Lindblom. The athletic sophomore wing played off his athleticism with acrobatic finishes in the paint, finishes on dump offs, and crisp pull up jumpers. He had 14 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845357' first='Noah' last='Mister'] (Mt. Carmel)

Mister is really fitting in nicely with Mt. Carmel as the sophomore point guard gives them a spark with his quickness, passing, and shot making. Going to continue to get better as the season goes on. He had 10 points against Hillcrest.
