Two well-coached groups filled each other out like it was a state playoff game. Goldsboro went up 5-0 before S Granville woke up and found their offense. Early on it looked like a possession game for both undefeated teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Goldsboro jumped out to a 21-14 lead in the early minutes of the second before the Vikings would go on a run of their own. They ran off 10 straight points to make things 24-21 with 4:45 remaining in the first half.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>South Granville extended the run to 14 points, 28-21, before Goldsboro would respond and stop the scoring drought with 1:15 left in the half. Goldsboro would cut it to 7 points but a technical foul would take away their momentum. After the technical foul and free throws from a personal foul making it 65-55, Vikings with 1:42 left. When he wasn't shooting he was rebounding and defending, making an impact in other ways. He finished with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals as well. He was another one who's shot wasn't falling but he found a way to impact the game with his playmaking ability and further frustrated his opponent in that way.
