You can check out my Top Performers here, but this article will highlight some of the other standout players from the day. I’ll go team by team and let you know who the key players were from the day.
Graham Kapowsin
Gillespie is an electric player who can score the rock in a lot of ways and Saturday he got it going from deep, starting the second half out 4/4 from 3PT. He was drilling off the catch, mixing in a little hesitation dribble, hitting from the corner, the wing, it didn’t matter. He was in rhythm and showed how he can jumpstart an offense with his scoring.
Highlights
A true two-way guy, Fuller made a big block at the rim in transition and did a great job attacking the rim with strength. He’s a quick guard and has really nice slashing ability, plus he can pepper in some threes to mix it up.
He’s a strong guard with a good center of gravity. Stays solid attacking the hoop and was able to absorb a lot of contact against Kennedy, stay balanced, and find some room to score at the rim.
Kennedy Catholic
One of the players of the game in their win against Graham Kapowsin, Garcia is a playmaking wing who made some nice dishes ahead in transition, found dump-off’s on his drives, and overall played a well-rounded game.
Truong was a steady presence for the Lancers, creating off the dribble in the half court, showing an ability to sink the open outside shots, and showing some good burst to get to the basket. He spurred the majority of their action offensively.

Saladino’s an interesting sophomore who’s not overly big or quick, but made some smart reads to shoot gaps, was strong and intentional with his drives, and played hard all game which earned him an advantage near the hoop.
Kentwood
Came out shooting really well from 3-point but made an even bigger impact challenging shots around the paint and giving Kentwood an extra sense of size on the defensive end.
Highlights
Sumner
A good-sized wing, Hartley splashed in a couple of corner threes and was able to do his part defensively to make things tough for Kentwood, leading to the Sumner win.
Lynden Christian
Stuit posed a lot of problems for a Kentridge team that struggled to match his physicality. But besides playing big on the boards, Stuit also worked to get deep post ups, which allowed deep entry passes and forced defenders to foul him or give up the easy two.
Kentridge
Dhailwal shot the ball really well from both 3-point and a couple steps in. He was a bright spot for Kentridge in a first half where their offensive really sputtered. He spotted his openings quickly and was able to hit off the catch or after a couple dribbles.
Troy Keowla Troy Keowla 6'0" | PG Kentridge | 2026 WA
Troy Keowla Troy Keowla 6'0" | PG Kentridge | 2026 WA
He’s a really tough player who continued to fight on the defensive end and showed some real promise as a guy who can pressure the ball. He’s pretty quick and had some nice moves with the dribble, and could be a kid that makes a nice jump over the next year.
Tahoma
Stonerock’s usually a main figure for Tahoma and Saturday was no exception. He made his mark attacking the hoop, splitting defenders with quick moves and light feet, and spreading the ball around with great vision and patience.
Emerald Ridge
It was a tough offensive game for Emerald Ridge but Bennett showed some excellent defensive fight to keep the game within reach even when their shots weren’t falling. He was ready and waiting for any opening ballhandlers would give him and came up with a few steals. He slowed their pace a bit and gave his team some momentum by creating turnovers.

Another tough sophomore guard with promise, Turner played tough, continued to fight his way to the rim, and showed an ability to breakdown his man with the dribble to create space and get into the middle. He can shoot it a little too and should be an under the radar player to watch the rest of the year.
