There are some basketball prospects that would be great presents under the tree for college basketball programs. We’re going to look at some 2025’s that would be great gifts for a next level coach.
There’s a reason that Lawson is a national recruiting target. The young man has elite ball handling skills on the ability to turn on that blow by speed that college coaches covet. Lawson will be a huge addition to a team at the next level.
The combination of skill and upside that Karel holds will have a college coach giddy when he commits. He started out as a gifted post player, but expanded his game exponentially. Karel can now attack from the outside and effectively stretch the floor.

I mean, have you seen the numbers the young man is putting up this season? Breakables at his family home are safe, because they way he rebounds, they’ll never hit the floor. Adding Thompson to a college roster will be a gift that can used in so many different ways.
Highlights
Hutson is an elite wing and one that any college coach would love to have gifted to their program. He’s a versatile scorer that can attack from anywhere on the floor. Hutson is a creative finisher and a knock down shooter with deep range.
Walther is following an outstanding spring and summer with an equally impressive high school season. He has coaches excited and hopeful that they’ll see him on campus someday. Walther has a strong mental game and is a stat sheet stuffer with underrated athleticism.
There will be a day when a college coach is all smiles because Wesolek is coming to town. He’s a powerful post player that can easily establish position on the block. He has touch and feel for the ball when he catches a post feed or works off the line.
Highlights
Coaches love a coach on the floor, so adding Tropea to a program will thrill a coach at the next level. He has a terrific feel for the game. Tropea has shown since the summer that he can create with his handles and get buckets for his team.
Bledsoe has been turning some heads since the fall and college coaches are getting excited. He’s quickly developed into an elite shooter from beyond the arc. Bledsoe was one of the top shooters at the David Barns Showcase and has had a hot hand in high school season as well.
