Phenom Hoops Tourney Town – Players to Watch

With some familiar teams participating once again, as well as some 336 area teams getting their chance to shine, it will be an eventful weekend. Really smooth release and plays so well without the ball in his hands.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2288088' first='Alik' last='Lewis'] - Fill it up scorer that is doing it all once again at Shining Light. Takes all kinds of shots and makes them with efficiency. Can defend his position too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2055663' first='Nick' last='Keith'] - Combo guard that's really shifty and athletic which gives him tools to succeed. Knows how to get a bucket inside the arc with efficiency and ease.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1864069' first='Isaiah' last='Sanders'] - Smaller point guard but a great facilitator with IQ and vision. Scrappy competitor on both ends and should be a good pickup for regional programs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Wings - </h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1126297' first='Jayden' last='Harris'] - ELITE scorer that is headed to Wake Forest next year and continues to show he can fill it up. Plus shooter but thrives in the middle of the floor where he can rise up and shoot over defenders.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1239986' first='Jackson' last='Sellars'] - One of the leaders of a very well rounded Page team this year. Able to shoot the three well off the bounce, as well as attack downhill. Can leap as well as take off with a quick first step.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1931127' first='Jaiquan' last='Clay'] - Bouncy, springy athlete that plays the big spot for HPCA. Athletic freak who really impacts the game at the rim and on the ground on the defensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='982145' first='Lewis' last='Walker'] - "Big Jelly" is a really physical, below the rim type forward that will probably play the 4 at the next level. Physical as all hell, but has ball skills as well to put the ball on the floor and drive.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Forwards - </h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1076361' first='Ari' last='Fulton'] - Undersized forward that will be plying his trade at NJIT next season. Runs the floor very hard and is dynamite in transition as a ball handler or a rim runner.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1272558' first='Colt' last='Langdon'] - Sniper that is developing physicality and an off the bounce game to compete at the HM level. Lefty with size that makes him a versatile threat as a 3 or 4 man.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1490564' first='Richard' last='Goods'] - Really elite rebounder and interior finisher that has shown thus far. Not making the flashiest plays, but makes winning ones as a defensive anchor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1982790' first='Chol' last='Machot'] - Tall, thin big that has so much more room to develop. Excellent shot blocker that disrupts with his length even without blocking a shot. Expanding his offensive arsenal as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
