7th place –North Charleston HS 65 Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach 49
The Cougars came out on fire and knocked down 12 three-pointers in the game. Sophomore guard Marco Simpson Marco Simpson 6'1" | CG North Charleston | 2026 State SC led the way with 26 points. Junior Richard Hazel added 16 points in the win while making 4 three-pointers.
The Saints dropped all 3 games in the Panther Classic. Junior Brayden Hendrix Brayden Hendrix 6'0" | CG Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2025 State SC led the Classic in scoring finished with 23 points in the loss today.
5th place – Conway HS 43 Myrtle Beach HS 31
The Tigers won this neighborhood rivalry this time around. Sophomore Jordan Jenkins Jordan Jenkins 6'5" | SF Conway | 2026 State SC took high honors here with 17 points today. Jenkins plays his best basketball stalking and attacking the basket.
The Seahawks just couldn’t find any rhythm here today at the Panther Classic. Junior John Simmons John Simmons 6'3" | SF Myrtle Beach | 2025 State SC and James Watson James Watson 6'0" | PG Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC both led the Seahawks with 7 points apiece here today.
3rd place – Carolina Forest HS 51 Hoggard HS (Wilmington, NC) 49
The Panthers stole a victory here late in the game with a late bucket to secure 3rd place. Senior guard Daniel Allen Daniel Allen 6'0" | SG Carolina Forest | 2024 State SC led the charge with 19 points while connecting on 4 three-pointers. Junior Sammy McGuire added 10 points in the win.
The Vikings out of Wilmington, NC started the season missing several players still playing football in the State Championship Game. Junior post player Jayzion Davis Jayzion Davis 6'4" | SF Hoggard | 2025 State NC finished with 13 points while freshman guard Hunter McGrath added 10 points. Senior point guard Jaylen Herring added in 6 points. The Vikings fall to (6-3) on the season.
Championship – High Point Christian (NC) 62 Wilson HS (Florence) 59 (Overtime)
The Cougars from the Hoop State prevailed in the Championship to claim the Panther Classic. Senior guard Isaiah Sanders Isaiah Sanders 5'11" | PG High Point Christian | 2024 State NC led the way with 17 points and time after time big play after big play. Jaiquan Clay Jaiquan Clay 6'5" | SF High Point Christian | 2026 State NC nicknamed “Toot” finished with 12 points and Max VanWeerdhuizen Max VanWeerdhuizen 6'0" | PG High Point Christian Academy | 2026 State NC added 10 points in the win.
The Tigers got strong play from junior Tristan Thompson Tristan Thompson 6'5" | SF Wilson | 2025 State #339 Nation SC who finished with 25 points while connecting on 5 three-pointers. Freshman Josh Leonard Josh Leonard 6'6" | CG Wilson | 2027 State SC finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds unofficially according to my stats.
