O’Fallon Shootout Schedule Released

The O’Fallon Shootout is one of the top events annually in the state of Illinois!  This year’s event has another stellar lineup of talent!  Prep Hoops Illinois will be in the house as always for both nights.  We are proud to unveil the lineup below along with a preview of the 2024 O’Fallon Shootout!

5:00 PM         Columbia vs Bloomington Central Catholic

Last year it was a small school prospect that lit up the nets for BCC!  Don’t be shocked if Columbia 2025 Sam Donald Sam Donald 6'8" | PF Columbia | 2025 State IL does similar this year as the combo forward has put up big numbers early in the season with his versatile inside/outside game.  BCC lost Certa, but returns several players who shined for a team that made it to the 2A state title game a year ago including senior power forward Colin Hayes Colin Hayes 6'6" | PF Bloomington Central Catholic | 2024 State IL and junior sharp shooter Treyton Eller Treyton Eller 6'3" | SG Bloomington Central Catholic | 2025 State IL .

8:00 PM         O’Fallon vs Peoria Richwoods

Richwoods is a legit state title contender as they are anchored by Rutgers commit Lathan Sommerville inside who is a grown man!  The high-major post is a walking double double.  He has a pair of veteran guards in Tavie Smith Tavie Smith 6'1" | PG Peoria Richwoods | 2024 State IL and Jared Jackson Jared Jackson 6'3" | SG Peoria Richwoods | 2024 State IL who make things happen!  O’Fallon has been a bit up and down early in the season, but the talent is there!  It all revolves around their senior duo of Jaeden Rush Jaeden Rush 6'0" | PG O'Fallon | 2024 State IL and Rini Harris Rini Harris 6'3" | SG O'Fallon | 2024 State IL .  Rush is a smooth operator that runs a team and gets others involved.  Harris is a strong bodied wing scorer that can get buckets from all three levels.

3:30 PM         Breese Central vs Peoria Notre Dame

PND has one of the least talked about D1 prospects in the state in Eoin Dillon Eoin Dillon 6'8" | C Peoria Notre Dame | 2024 State #294 Nation IL .  The Belmont commit has great size, length, and a versatile inside/outside game.  Can really stretch the floor with his shooting and swat shots on the interior.  Breese Central counters with their dynamic senior guard Mason Shubert Mason Shubert 6'2" | SG Breese Central | 2024 State IL who is tough as nails and can score from all over the floor!

5:00 PM         O’Fallon vs Vashon

O’Fallon will be back on the floor less than 24 hours later for another tough test this time from St. Louis power Vashon.  The Wolverines are deep and LOADED!  The headliner is Nicholas Randall as the skilled and athletic power forward is one of the top 2025 prospects in the state of Missouri.  In that junior class Trey Williams Trey Williams 6'0" | PG Loyola Academy | 2026 State IL and Christian Williams bring scoring punch on the perimeter.  Watch out for Jimmy McKinney Jr as he has next in 2027!

6:30 PM         Homewood Flossmoor vs Fishers (IN)

Homewood Flossmoor has one of the best rosters in the state of Illinois with their talented depth.  It starts with 2025 top 3 junior Bryce Heard Bryce Heard 6'6" | SG Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 #86 Nation IL .  He is a legit high-major recruit that can take over games on the perimeter with his size and scoring.  Their dynamic backcourt of Columbia commit Gianni Cobb Gianni Cobb 6'0" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2024 State IL and junior Jayden Tyler Jayden Tyler 6'0" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 State IL are so fast with the rocks in their hand.  Carson Brownfield Carson Brownfield 6'5" | SF Homewood Flosmoor | 2024 State IL is a flat out bucket getter for this team with his physical style as a lefty!  Fishers is led by top 25 senior duo Keenan Garner and Taden Metzger out of Indiana.

8:00 PM         Cardinal Ritter (MO) vs Thornton

This is going to be a big time matchup with state title favorites in both Illinois and Missouri!  Thornton is led by the #1 senior in Illinois and favorite for all the awards Morez Johnson Morez Johnson 6'9" | PF Thornton | 2024 State #33 Nation IL .  The Illini commit is a physically imposing prospect that rebounds and finishes with force.  He is flanked by a trio of high level senior guards in Isaiah Green Isaiah Green 6'1" | PG Thornton | 2024 State IL , Meyoh Swansey Meyoh Swansey 6'3" | SG Thornton | 2024 State IL , and Chase Abraham Chase Abraham 6'0" | SG Thornton | 2024 State IL who have each had their moments this season.  Cardinal Ritter has a veteran group of senior guards led by Clayton Jackson who is one of the more underrecruited prospects in the Midwest.  The two guard produces game in and game out!  Nashawn Davis and Derrick Rivers round out their senior three headed monster on the perimeter that play so well off each other on both ends!
