Led all scorers with 18 points, also pulling down 5 rebounds, adding 3 assists. Had a dunk in the open court where he nearly pulled the hoop down. He’s basically a positionless prospect that can post up and take advantage in the paint, as well as play away from the hoop. Was an impressive passer out of the post as well.
Highlights
Talley started at the point and was smooth, controlled, and confident. Played a clean game and got into the paint to finish in the paint overtop the defense. Gets into the lane and has a great floater game. Made defensive plays with steals and deflections. 17 points, 4 rebounds, + 4 assists. I thought he only helped his stock after the opening game.
Highlights
Blake looked super long on the court compared to his peers. Looked quick and agile for 6’8. Got down in a defensive stance and was pressuring the ball beyond the three-point line. 13 points + 6 rebounds. Used his length to score over smaller players.
Highlights
Anderson looks a little thicker this year, but not by a large margin. 11 points + 7 rebounds.
Highlights
Soukup had a real nice game with 16 points, 3 rebounds, + 3 assists. I thought he looked really good, especially as a passer and facilitator that moved the ball and offense quickly. Got into the middle of the defense all night and was kicking out to shooters. Stretched the floor from the three-point line with a smooth jumper.
