Porisch is primed for a breakout season on the hardwood after a strong fall leading Huron’s (currently 8–2) football team as the Tigers’ quarterback. Coming into basketball season loaded with confidence, Porisch brings length, athleticism, and versatility to an already talented Huron squad. While his numbers might not jump off the page on a deep roster, his impact will be undeniable. Porisch is a mobile, multi-level scorer who can attack the rim, score from midrange, and knock down shots from deep. Defensively, his size and agility allow him to guard multiple positions and disrupt opponents across the floor. Expect Porisch to be a major playmaker and an essential piece of Huron’s push for a big season.

The do it all guy for his Huron Tigers. He’s good for a couple triples, will hit the boards and take down 7-10 of those, and he’s gonna have 2-4 assists and steals.
Glue guy
Does the little things
He plays with strength and is pretty athletic at 6’5
His ability to guard is will be needed if Huron plans on a title run

Anderson joins an absolutely stacked roster in Huron and definitely has been flying under the radar a bit due to just that. At 6’5 Porisch runs the floor well and can find his shot, both from deep and is good for midi off the bounce. He’s also very solid on the boards and does nice job of attacking the ball as it comes off the rim. Keep an eye on Anderson and his Tigers this season as they will be a handful.

Anderson rose his stock some, in my eyes. His defensive ability needs to be taken more into consideration on my behalf. He hasn’t grown, but he already has next-level length. He noticeably uses his long arms defensively on the ball and off the ball to play lanes and defend in the post. He was going off the dribble and finishing in various forms at the hoop. Showed he could go baseline and finish on the other side of the hoop.

Porisch is a varsity veteran already as a Sophomore. But he can take a leap still as a wing threat. If he can prove to have guard skills and handles, I think that really helps his recruitment and projecting him to a wing. He’ll be with Hoop City South Dakota and looking to prove that on the Prep Hoops Circuit as well.
