Camron Henderson Camron Henderson 6'0" | CG Madison East | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Madison East
One of the more unsung players in the senior class, Henderson once again showed out. An explosive scorer, the senior guard went for 25 points against Sun Prairie East. While he doesn’t have ideal positional size, at 5-foot-10, Henderson is very tough to defend. He’s got blow-by ability on the ball, is effective at scoring from all three levels, can pull defenders out on an island and take them to the dance floor, and has an array of finishes when he gets in close. One of those players you have to respect both his quickness and outside shooting ability, Henderson makes you pick your poison. Going back to his finishing ability, Henderson is a little rare as he can get it done with both power and finesse. He’s a guy that can attack the chest of a defender, but also change his shot in mid-air and elude shot blockers if he wants.
Reece Jordan Jr Reece Jordan Jr 6'1" | CG Madison East | 2027 State WI . – 2027 – SG – Madison East
Jordan Jr. has got some stuff to him. It’s early, but if you’re going to talk about shot makers in this 2027 class, Jordan is going to rank among the best. This kid has a nasty isolation game, including a filthy step-back jumper that he can get to whenever he wants. The lefty has some supremely confident shot-creating ability and just looks so smooth and effortless when getting in and out of his breaks. Like 99 percent of freshmen, Jordan needs to get better defensively, get stronger, work on his shot selection, and ability to finish at the rim against older, more mature players, but he’s got a chance to be a good one.
Demond Laongoen Demond Laongoen 5'10" | CG Madison East | 2024 State WI – 2024 – PG – Madison East
A player that’s probably going to see his name in the next rankings update, Laongoen was terrific down the stretch despite the loss. Time and time again, East cleared out for their senior point guard and he made shot after shot to either give the Purgolders the lead or tie things back up. Laongoen also hit a pair of clutch free throws that looked like they’d give East the win. Averaging nearly 19 points per game this season, Laongoen is a strong ball handler with some advanced upper body strength. He’s quick enough to get defenders on his hip, but also knows how to move defenders within the rules and brush them off to set up a sweet mid-range game. Laongoen has been in double figures in every game this season, including a season-high 26 points against the Cardinals.
Max Raimer Max Raimer 6'0" | PG Sun Prairie East | 2025 State WI – 2025 – PG – Sun Prairie East
Another new name that jumped out, Raimer is a skilled point guard that broke down the defense at a high level. He’s very good on the ball, able to brush aside contact and also get a step on some really quick defenders. Raimer contributed 23 points. Thought he was solid all game long. Raimer handled pressure, made good decisions with the basketball, set up his teammates for success, and took advantage of the defense when they forgot about him.
Gavin Van Wie Gavin Van Wie 6'5" | SF Sun Prairie East | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SF – Sun Prairie East
A new name that played his way into the next rankings, Van Wie was sensational during Thursday’s win. The senior dropped a game-high 35 points, including the game-tying 3-pointer that sent the game into overtime. One of those players that understands who he is and how to be successful, Van Wie has an unorthodox, but very effective game. At 6-foot-5, Van View is going to play to his matchup. He’s a composed, skilled, multi-dimensional offensive player who will stretch the floor from 3 or play with his back to the basket. Love his post-up game, ability to stay calm and not get sped up when playing around traffic. He can hit a variety of shots in the paint too, often scoring off balance or changing his release angle to avoid shot blockers.
