In each game, there were tons of high profile prospects that we have in the state and Prep Hoops Indiana was in attendance all day to take in the action. Let’s not waste anymore time with this intro and get right into what I saw on the day. Here part one of my player evaluations from Sneakers for Santa.
Heritage Hills: vs Evansville Christian
Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6’8″ | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN was doing Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6’8″ | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN things at Sneakers for Santa over the weekend. While he struggled a little behind the arc, the highly-touted forward was making all sorts of plays happen around the rim with his agility, athleticism, and power. He was the best prospect in the gym on Saturday and his double-double of 24 points, 10 rebounds only further solidifies that.
With much-needed help around Sisley these past few seasons, he is starting to get and Jake Prior Jake Prior 6’5″ | SG Heritage Hills | 2026 State IN is one of them. Very smooth player on the perimeter that can knock down shots especially off the catch. Does force his jumper just a little too much but remains aggressive always. Once he adds strength and size, he will be even more of a factor for this Patriots team.
Highlights
Hopf was another Heritage Hills player that stood out besides Sisley this game. A really good-sized guard that can shoot and has great fundamentals. Throughout the game he was knocking down big time shots and being a great facilitator. He provided a big time spark in the Heritage Hills backcourt.

Evansville Christian: vs Heritage Hills
Dunham was without question one of the best on-ball guards in the gym on Saturday. Was dribbling through traffic very well all game but the thing that stood out to me was how many tough jumpers he hit, especially from behind the arc. Did a good job of drawing contact but did struggled to hit his free throws at times. Strongly believe he is one of the most under-recruited guards in the 2024 class. He finished with 18 points.
Cathedral: vs Evansville Bosse
One of the more interesting prospects in the gym on Saturday was the 6’8 wing Brady Koehler Brady Koehler 6’9″ | SF Cathedral | 2025 State #199 Nation IN . His size, length, and mobility immediately jump out to you when watching him. His smoothness on the ball is an important part of his game and how well he can score at all three levels. He also proved that he is a true rim protector as well. He fined with 12 points.
Highlights
Gough was one of the guards that impressed me on Saturday. He was scoreless in the first half but exploded with three quick buckets off a strong first step from the right lane. He was super quick on the ball and showed great hands on the defensive end. Starting to become the op lead guard for Cathedral in my opinion.
Gatlin made a strong case as the best player on the floor for Cathedral on Saturday. He finished with 15 points and most of the points came from knocking down big outside shots off the catch. At 6’7, he uses his athletic ability very well through the defense and makes plays at the rim as well. Strong bench piece for the Irish.
Evansville Bosse: vs Cathedral
Howell was the best guard on the floor in the Bosse game vs Cathedral. While the rest of the team struggled, Howell scored a game-high 23 points. He is extremely sharp on the ball with elite speed and an ability to avoid the contact heading to the rim. Is at his best when he can push the pace and make the defense try to adjust to his style.
Brownsburg: vs Warren Central
While he struggled mostly in the first half, Lomax’s offense really got going in the second and became one of the leading scorers for Brownsburg with his 14 points. Once he found his rhythm, he was hitting tough shots both inside and out while locking in on the defensive end as well. He has started off his senior season strong and seems to be adjusting to Brownsburg’s system.
Highlights
Sloss has always been a real intriguing prospect for me. Love his versatility on both ends and how well he uses his wide-frame. Would have liked to have seen him be a little more active on the offensive end like I saw him be over the summer. Lot of potential in this player, especially if he continues to grow.
Warren Central: vs Brownsburg
Guess is a 6’5 power forward that plays with a physical style. Used his body to make moves around the post and was super active on the glass on both ends. He is a front court factor for the Warriors. He finished with 10 points.
Kirby was the best player on the floor for Warren Central. Was strong on the drive and finish while also moving off the ball well. Shot the ball well off the catch as well. True combo guard that can be shifty for the Warriors. He finished with a team-high 12 points.
