1.) 2025 Emiliano Barrantes Emiliano Barrantes 6'9" | PF Grand View Christian | 2025 State IA (Grand View Christian) – 16.5 rebounds per game
Barrantes pulled down an eye-popping 29 rebounds in the Thunder’s win over Stanton earlier in December, but even if you took that performance out, he’d be #6 on this list. A long, athletic 6-9 forward who runs the floor hard and has a nose for the ball, he has been dominant on both ends of the floor for GVC, averaging 28 points and 4 blocks a game as well.
2.) 2024 Dayson Leerhoff Dayson Leerhoff 6'5" | PF Pleasantville Highschool | 2024 State IA (Pleasantville) – 14.5
Leerhoff missed the Trojans’ first four games of the season, but has been on a mission since returning to the lineup, averaging 15 points and 14.5 rebounds a game. He’s fantastic on the glass on both ends of the floor and is the type of mobile, athletic big man that gives opposing teams a lot of problems on both ends of the floor.
3.) 2026 Ryan Clair Ryan Clair 6'4" | PF East Sac County | 2026 State IA (East Sac County) – 12.6
A 6-4 forward who can do a little bit of everything for the Raiders, Clair leads the team in scoring (17.9), steals (1.9), and blocks (1.4), and is second in assists (2.4) while shooting 60% from the floor.
4.) 2024 Koby Bohr (Postville) – 12.5
Bohr has been fantastic on both ends of the floor for the Pirates, raising his scoring average by more than eight points a game and his rebounding numbers are up by five a night. He’s averaging 20.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 2.6 steals a game on 55% shooting.
5.) 2025 Cael Reichter Cael Reichter 6'7" | PF North Fayette Valley | 2025 State IA (North Fayette Valley) – 12.3
A mobile 6-7 combo forward with soft hands, great touch, and a non-stop motor, Reichter is enjoying a breakout junior year with the TigerHawks, averaging 23.1 points in addition to his huge rebounding numbers.
6.) 2024 Camden Davis Camden Davis 6'5" | SF Hudson | 2024 State IA (Hudson) – 11.6
Davis is the focal point of one of the best teams in the class, averaging 21 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals a game on 56% shooting. An athletic and active 6-4 combo forward who can create off the dribble, score on post touches, and dominate the glass on both ends of the floor, Davis is one of the best all-around players in the class.
7.) 2024 Jacob Wendt Jacob Wendt 6'2" | PF PCM | 2024 State IA (PCM) – 11.1
Wendt has been a walking double-double for the Mustangs for the last few years. A 6-4 forward who can score inside and out, he’s also second on the team in assists per game (2.7), showing impressive court vision and passing skills out of the post.
8.) 2024 Reece Vander Zee Reece Vander Zee 6'5" | SF Central Lyon | 2024 State IA (Central Lyon) – 10.6
Vander Zee will play receiver at Iowa, but before he heads to Iowa City, he’s putting up humongous numbers for the Lions on the hardwood, putting up 28.8 points, 2.3 assists, and 3.0 steals a game. He’s a bouncy, long 6-7 forward who does a great job high-pointing the ball and elevating above opposing players to pull down contested boards.
9.) 2024 Owen Larson Owen Larson 6'1" | PG Estherville Lincoln Central | 2024 State IA (Estherville Lincoln Central) – 10.6
The only true guard on this list, Larson is a good athlete who stuffs the stat sheet for the Midgets. He leads the state in scoring at 29.6 points a game, and is also dishing out 4.9 assists a game. He’ll play his college ball at South Dakota State.
10.) 2025 Conall Sauser Conall Sauser 6'3" | SF Oelwein | 2025 State IA (Oelwein) – 10.5
