The most impressive individual performance we saw yesterday belonged to Riverdale Baptist wing [player_tooltip player_id='2242065' first='Dominic' last='Carr'], who finished with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. Carr was incredibly active on the glass, scoring on putbacks in the paint three times and kicking out to open shooters twice. Carr went 4/6 from beyond the arc and did his part to stretch the floor for his teammates, showing some improved perimeter skill despite solid contests.

Howard Williams of Whitney Young might have the most upside of any prospect listed today, leaving his imprint on the game in limited minutes with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal. 6'7 with a strong frame, good leaper, has some shot-blocking and rebounding instincts. Interested in seeing if he develops as a wing (his position in AAU) vs a more interior-based power forward.

Perimeter scorer of the day definitely went to Archbishop Ryan's [player_tooltip player_id='1192641' first='Darren' last='Williams'], exploding for 13 points from the perimeter in the 3Q to bring his team all the way back into the game. The FGCU commit finished with 25 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 assist in a close loss.

Archbishop Ryan's [player_tooltip player_id='1213553' first='Thomas' last='Sorber'] is one of the most impressive shot-blockers that I have ever evaluated, incredible length but he also has impeccable timing. The body has improved as Sorber has lost at least 15 pounds last season, lightening the load and improving his movement skills. Sorber carves out space with an extremely-strong core in the paint, think he can be a legit low post threat from day one when he steps on a college campus. The Georgetown commit finished with 14 points, 6 blocks, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371865' first='Akbar' last='Waheed III'] of Georgetown Prep impressed us again with a very balanced performance for the Hoyas, finishing with 15 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal. Waheed has improved his floor game as a distributor, landing on two in the paint before making the correct read to get his team an easy look. He hit catch and shoot 3s, finished with an emphatic dunk at the rim, drilled pull-up midrange jumpers, and even hit a stepback 3 for good measure. Defensively he still has room for improvement as an on-ball guy that sometimes struggles to keep his man in front, but he has improved as a help defender in the gaps

Georgetown Prep forward [player_tooltip player_id='1768901' first='Tyler' last='Garrett'] work-horse'd his way to an effective statline of 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist. The 6'8 big plays incredibly hard for all of his minutes, catching the ball well in traffic in finishing over defenders in the paint. Even if he doesn't block a ton of shots, he is in the gaps well to deter driving lanes and alters a bunch of shots at the rim.

Gonzaga's Will Harper shot the lights out, going 8/10 from the floor to finish with an easy 20 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. The junior wing has grown about an inch and has become a more well-rounded offensive weapon with significant growth in his shooting ability since the end of last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580614' first='Ayden' last='Hurley'] of St. John's Catholic Prep turned in a gritty performance, playing extremely hard at both ends until the final whistle despite the score- finishing with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist. Hurley has a polished offensive game and was patient with his looks at the rim with several pump fakes or ball fakes to shift the defense, going 7/9 from the floor.

SJCP sophomore wing [player_tooltip player_id='1963386' first='Aaron' last='Shoffner'] was one of the players that we highlighted in our preview, bulldozing his way to 15 points and 3 rebounds on the night. 6'5 with enough strength to guard a 6'9 [player_tooltip player_id='1409272' first='Christian' last='Gurdak'] most of the game, he also showed a nice shooting touch from the perimeter.

Jackson Reed's [player_tooltip player_id='1370505' first='Josiah' last='Massaquoi'] played with incredible energy and effort on both ends of the floor, showing he won't be intimidated or bullied on his way to 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 block. Interested to see if he eventually turns into a Draymond Green type of player that can handle and distribute as a point forward or if he takes the wing scorer route. Skillset and range have improved as he knocked down both 3s that he took. His intensity on the offensive glass extended several possessions in a game that came down to who had the last one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1366898' first='Lucas' last='Sekasi'] really impressed with his performance in this one, playing with more court presence and controlling pace for Jackson-Reed. Sekasi finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 assists. Sekasi hit the game-tying three with just under a minute left in the game at the end of the shot clock before hitting teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1225260' first='Scottie' last='Hubbard'] with the game-winning assist.
