Codio is a 6-2 dual-sport athlete playing with Bishop Moore. He’s developed into a Division I athlete throughout the years and is a true scoring threat on the hardwood. A deadly sniper from behind the arc that can light up opposing defenses with the lefty. His ability to create off the dribble while being smart with the ball will keep him on a roster at the next level. The FGCU commit has helped the Yellow Jackets to an early 5-2 start.

How is Smith different from others on the list? He’s an 8th grader dominating competition at the varsity level. For his size and age, he can essentially do it all as a guard product that has acrobatic finishes at the rim and can shoot the rock consistently. Still plenty of time to go for Smith, but he’s dropped over 20+ points in the last few games for Meadowbrook Academy (5-3).

Cornish has put up video game-like numbers to lead Charlotte to a 3-0 start with a big-time matchup with Port Charlotte up next. Cornish has done nothing but raise his stock with consistent performances since the AAU session. A high-motor team player who can score off pure athleticism and physicality. Still growing and could put on more size while keeping his explosive demeanor. Finishes everything strong around the rim and always looking to cut to the basket.
2023 stats: 18.8 PPG – 11.3 rebounds – 1.5 assists
The 6-7 versatile forward prospect has good size and athleticism to be effective around the rim or the mid-range. Lubsey has a good motor to stay active on the boards and displays solid agility to get up and down the floor. A double-double machine that’s helped his team to a 5-2 start. If he’s able to be consistent throughout the season, look out for an uptick in college interest.
2023 stats: 18.2 PPG – 4.0 rebounds – 2.8 assists – 2.5 steals
Ochan was originally born in Kenya but has made a name for himself in the Florida high school hoop scene since making his way down from Minnesota. At 6-3, he’s a speedy guard prospect who uses his athleticism at the rim to finish acrobatic plays. His aggressive and explosive mentality transitions to the defensive side as well, as he recorded 2.5 steals per game. Ochan has been a leader and scoring threat for the Panthers who are 5-1 to start the season.
