2027 Shooting Guards to Watch in the New Year

The freshman class has only played a couple of games in their varsity careers, but their potential is still tantalizing to watch. Here are the 2027 shooting guards to watch in the new year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2202021' first='Aidan' last='Carter'], 6'3 St. Thomas Aquinas</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Carter is one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2027 class as he can impact the offense in a number of ways. The 6'3 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Carter can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and slides his feet on defense. Lynch moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He can also put the ball on the floor and is an underrated defender. He works hard on defense and is an underrated rebounder. The 6'0 guard rises up with confidence on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches as he has three games with at least four made threes. Bell is more than just a shooter as he can also finish around the rim and get to the paint off the bounce. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and get deflections on defense. Bell is a skilled guard prospect who should continue to put up good numbers for Egg Harbor this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
