These Seniors are barely starting their last season of high school basketball but They’re only a few months away from enrolling at college for summer classes. This 2024 class has been a good one. Let’s break down the top 5 ranked prospects in the Senior class across the state.
There are no surprises at the top of this list as Travis continues his reign at the top of the 24 class. Already the highest scoring player in KHSAA history, the record may be unattainable by the time Travis finishes his career in Match.
Joining Perry in the SEC next season, Trent has had a decorated career at the high school level and is ranked in the top 150 Seniors in America. Noah is a big time shooter with great positional size and the work ethic to continue improving at the college level.
Often overlooked when discussing Kentucky’s best Seniors, Brett is the real deal and will be an impact player once he gets to Liberty for college. Capable of playing on or off the ball, Decker is a lights out shooter and underrated athlete whose basketball future is very bright.
The reigning state champ is currently on the injured list but should be back soon and ready to help the Dragons defend their state title. Kade is a big shooter whose range extends way past the three point line. A coaches’ son, Unseld has a high basketball IQ and you can see his skill level on the floor where he can really shine as a passer.
Ayden has come a long way towards reaching his potential but his best basketball is all still ahead of him. Committed to Ohio, Evans will push Decker for the 5th region MVP award. A high level rim protector whose offense continues improving, We may look back at this ranking in 5 years and realize that Evans was the best player in 2024.
