Continue ReadingAlways seems to be under control regardless of what may be going on, he’s the type of player that you want to have the ball in his hands. He scored the ball from multiple levels, going on a 12-0 run by himself after his team faced an early deficit but he also set up teammates for easy scores and controlled the tempo of the game from start to finish.
Highlights
Provided a legit second scoring option for his team, scoring inside the paint and on the perimeter. He brought a nice amount of effort on both ends of the floor and made sure to not try and do things outside of his comfort zone.
Really liked the production that we saw from him and he’s clearly a player that colleges should be calling. He made some plays in the paint around the basket and even stepped outside and knocked down perimeter shots.
Standing at 6’8, he gave his team a legit interior presence to make plays. Although he didn’t have his best showing, he made several positive plays on both ends of the floor to help his team.
Got off to an outstanding start in the first quarter as well as the third quarter, knocking down difficult shots, rebounding the ball, blowing by defenders and blocking shots. He’s very athletic and plays with the confidence of an upperclassman which is very impressive for a sophomore.

The way he scored the ball was one of the main reasons why his team was able to stay within striking distance. He caught fire from three-point land early on and even made some plays off the dribble as the day went on.
Provided the majority of the offense for his team in their matchup against PCHS, scoring the ball inside the paint with a high amount of efficiency. What we liked the most about him was the fact that although he has the ability to score from the perimeter, he didn’t settle and attacked the paint for some easier scoring opportunities.
A strong Guard that got where he wanted at a high rate by using his strength and craftiness in the matchups he was faced with. He scored the ball at a high level, drew plenty of fouls by constantly attacking defenders and showed why he is ranked top 10 in NC for his class.
