New Name Standouts
Trey came out strapped and loaded as he went for 6 three-pointers in a good win as he comes in off the radar and now he is a name we know in that loaded Class of 2026.
Daudi had himself a game and he did not just do it from the outside he was doing it from all over. He has 7 more small school coming up on the schedule, so he could realistically continue this trend.
Dropping 20 points and lighting it up from deep with 4 three-pointers RJ was putting people on notice that small school hoopers can play too.
Standouts
John might not be playing at a traditional high school anymore but the one thing remains and that is that this kid can shootthe rock. John has been lighting it up from deep and against some big time players. He might be averaging 17 PPG + and the crazy thing is that he has dudes 6’6 or so shadowing him and at times face-guarding him. the grown in so little time is evident.
Highlights
Damini pulled out a smooth performance as he showed that time and development come a long way. He scored 15 in an upset win over Northridge and the thing that he provides his school the most is his ability to provide balance to the squad as the ball moves around and it exchanges hands and he knows what to do with it when it is his turn.
APA West Valley has a duo that is getting it done as Peter is lightning in a bottle. The kid went crazy and scored 27 points. If you look at the schedule expect big numbers all year from Peter.
Highlights
There isn’t a player on an opposing team he plays this year that should give him fits and that is why he should be one intriguing prospect. The sample size isn’t good enough to determine where he could end up but he will be a highly sought out player that could play as an unsigned senior.
JJ is out traveling the country playing against different team scattered across the country and with him putting on 10 lbs. of muscle he is using it. He is just bullying smaller guards out in the perimeter and he is taking them into the post. His range is solid and he is making a case for more HM D1’s to come calling, this kid is just such a high IQ hooper.
Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6’4″ | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT is back and that changes everything for Fremont. The kid went crazy and he could not really be stopped as he went for 28 points and that is against one of the teams that plays some good defense. This means trouble for everyone, beware of Fremont.
John was going to be the difference maker and that is exactly what he was. His stat line was 24,4,3 and that is a great sign for cottonwood because they do need himt o doa little bit of everything and that freedom to play is something that John has not been able to do. Look for himt o continue this trend as they upset Mountain View a promising young team.
The big fella got off to a great start and nobody was talking about Spanish Fork and some where talking about Kearns having a good year. Aaron was dominating as he had a double-double to start the season.
Another huge win for the schools in Southern Utah County area. Matthew was a beast and he was not going to be stopped. Kid could be a sleeper scoring 20+ PPG and also could have had more if their team kept their gas on the peddle.
it feels as if we haven’t seen Paul ina long time and mainly because he stopped playing after the Spring but this kid is going to be a handful. Farmington was in control the entire game and their height is going to bother people and Paul is going to be the driving force. Stay tuned.
Have yourself a game George. The kid was in the zone scoring 19 Points and his team dismantled Jordan High School. George could be a sleeper prospect moving forward, put him on your big board and just watch.
