The event was a thrilling showcase of young basketball talent, spotlightng some of the most promising young players in the city. The event featured several standouts. Here’s a look at the events sensational performers.

Will Conroy Jr
Will Conroy Jr
I’ve seen highlights of Conroy so I knew he was good. I didn’t realize he was this good. His shooting was impressive, he displayed a strap from every level. He hit some pull ups from mid range, traditional catch and shoot threes, and the occasional Steph Curry bomb. A good two way player, Conroy was downright dominant en route to taking home the MVP Award.

Crawford was one of the smoothest players at the camp. During some of the full court drills you could see his skill level, which included a slick handle. He has good quickness and was effective with the dribble using both hands. He had one of the quickest releases at the camp seeming to almost catch, turn and shoot simultaneously.

Alijah K Brooks
Alijah K Brooks
I swear there was a game where Brooks scored every bucket for his team, he is a resourceful basketball player, as the speedy wing found a variety of ways to score. He would knock down catch and shoots, get to the rim off drives and finish in transition. Brooks had an overall sensational showing.

Malachi Carswell
Malachi Carswell
Loved Carswell’s feel for the game. The combine is a great setting because it allows players to compete in actual games and Carswell took advantage of it. He did a terrific job of facilitating, making some sweet dimes to players, while showing off a solid in between game with floaters and runners.

Emrys Battersby
Emrys Battersby
I found myself asking “who is that kid” quite a lot. Battersby was the answer more times than not. I love guys that can score without being ball dominant and that was Battersby. He did a great job sprinting the floor, catching and finishing. When he wasn’t finishing with layups, he was showing off his shooting, knocking down catch and shoot threes.

Joseph Coleman
Joseph Coleman
Coleman was one of the top high IQ players at the event. On the defensive end he showed good instincts, getting deflections and making catches tough. Offensively he showed a nice touch around the basket, finishing more than his shares of floaters and runners.

Benedict Bernardez
Benedict Bernardez
One look at Bernardez and it’s easy to see he’s a massive player. Despite his size and the speed of the game he did not stop competing. The big man made it up and down the floor continuously, and used strong hands to be the best rebounder at the camp.
