SWFL is loaded with talent this year and I will be splitting up these prospects into 4 select groups; post players, guards, shooters, and wings. I’ve already tackled the bigs and the guards, now let’s take a look at some prospects who can stretch out the defense and look to score from outside.
Gavin Williams Gavin Williams 6'0" | CG Bishop Verot | 2025 FL
Gavin Williams Gavin Williams 6'0" | CG Bishop Verot | 2025 FL
Williams comes over to the Vikings after averaging 23.2 ppg for ECS last season. The 6′ CG plays fast and likes to attack the basket where he can finish at the rim or knock down the free-throw if he gets hit. His quickness along with his ability to score from outside make him a tough matchup. He can score the 3-ball consistently and has a very solid mid-range game, where he can stop on a dime and knock down the jumper in the defenders face. Williams is a true 3-level scorer, look for him to be a key contributor on this much improved Bishop Verot squad.
The 6’1″ CG has really improved his game and enters his junior season looking much stronger and more confident. I’ve seen some big steps from Attia this offseason where he’s ready to take on a much larger role and be one of the leaders for this Tarpons squad. He’s a very smart player with a great mid-range game and can beat you off the dribble. He can score from anywhere on the court and shoots at a high rate from behind the arc. Keep an eye on this prospect as he seems to get better each time he steps on the court, and continues to trend upward.
Spencer Clayton Spencer Clayton 6'3" | PG Barron Collier | 2025 FL

Clayton has a very high basketball IQ and great court vision, making him a true floor general and the main facilitator for this Cougars team. The 6’3″ PG does a great job finding his teammates but can also create his own shot and score in bunches. He has a quick release and when he gets hot he’s tough to stop. He can hurt you with his mid-range game or step back behind the arc, where he knocks down the 3-ball consistently. Clayton is a prospect to monitor, where he’s not afraid to shoot from anywhere and looks to be the #1 scoring option for Barron Collier in 2023-24.
This kid is a swiss army knife, he does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He is a strong guard with a solid frame, who wont back down from any defensive assignment and is a real asset on the boards. He is a 2-way player who just plays the game right, giving his all every time he steps on the court. Fogle has solid handles and can score inside or out. He can take you to the hole or hit a contested jumper, and also knocks down the triple with unlimited range. Look for his stock to continue to rise this season, as he seems to be the glue guy for Gateway Charter.
Highlights
Brennan Ringhofer
Brennan Ringhofer
Ringhofer is a smart player with great knowledge of the game. He’s a 6′ CG with a smooth lefty stroke. He has the ability to take you to the hole and score at the basket, but really excels in the passing game where his eyes are always up scanning the court. His mid-range game is solid and when he’s feeling it from behind the arc he rarely misses. Ringhofer has a nice quiet shot and is excellent from the charity stripe. Continue to monitor this prospect as he looks to be the Catalyst for CSN in 2023-24.
Asher Hercek
Asher Hercek
Hercek is the tallest of the bunch for this group of shooters. The 6’7″ SF can shoot over just about anyone with his high release point and knocks down the 3-ball at a very high rate. With his unlimited range, Hercek can stretch the defense out and create space for his teammates or just bury the shot in the opponents face. He is an above-average rebounder on both ends of the court and with his size he is able to guard multiple positions. This senior prospect looks to help lead Mariner who has high hopes for this upcoming season.
