Nassir Binion Nassir Binion 6'4" | SG Vashon | 2024 State MO (Vashon)
Binion transferred to Vashon and that’s a program that will allow his defensive ability to shine as the season goes on. At 6’5 he’s a twitchy player who can move his feet and close up passing lanes. He’s versatile, being able to defend all guards and switch onto some forwards. A great chasedown block artist. Binion has made his mark on the defensive side of the ball and he’s as good as anybody when locked in.
Quinn Sunderland Quinn Sunderland 6'10" | PF Lindbergh | 2024 State MO (Lindbergh)
Sunderland is an anchor on the defensive side of the ball. His length, timing, and agility all make shots around the rim difficult. He’s able to move in space as a screen coverage big and does a good job of covering up short runners. His defensive mindset will be key for a Lindbergh team that has potential for a great season. Sunderland is a borderline Division 1 prospect who has Division 2 offers.
Xavier Wilson Xavier Wilson 6'7" | SF Staley | 2025 State #320 Nation MO (Staley)
Wilson is the type of defender that colleges are looking for. He’s a 6’7 player that can switch and guard every position on the floor. He’s a long wing with quick hands for steals but also blocks a lot of shots. He communicates, switches, and talks on this end of the ball bringing great energy to his team. A sound team defender and a wing with outstanding versatility.
Symon Ghai Symon Ghai 7'3" | C Vianney | 2026 State MO (Vianney)
Ghai is not only a great defender, but the most unique challenge on this list. He’s impossible to scout because of his 7’3 size. The sophomore has developed quickly and has a standing reach that’s rare to the high school game. Guards think they’re able to sneak around him or get a short shot up but quickly find out that Ghai is an obstacle on the floor. He has all the tools to be a major Division 1 recruit because of his shot blocking and motor.
B.J. Williamson B.J. Williamson 6'0" | PG New Madrid Central | 2024 State MO (New Madrid Central)
Williamson is a pest on the perimeter. He can rack up steals in a hurry and wants to guard the entire length of the floor. He’s capable of having 6,7, or 8 steal games and has proved this in the past. Anyone who can single handedly force this many turnovers deserves a spot on the list. Williamson is no slouch on the offensive end either. The senior can score and assist as well as anybody in his region.
