Continue ReadingOn Monday afternoon we released our updated Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2025 Prospect Rankings. With nearly 400 prospects in our database we ranked the Top 150 and grew our Watch List to over 200 names. Something we do alongside every rankings update is highlight some of the biggest stock-risers in the class. These are the prospects who shot up the rankings the most over the last few months in between updates. Let’s dive on in and take a look at six prospects from across the state that improved their ranking the most.
An influx of La Lumiere prospects kept Horton’s ranking from actually moving much, he only jumped two spots from #13 to #11, but that doesn’t do justice to his improvement since the last update. Horton has picked up a handful of Division I offers with plenty of more schools showing legitimate interest. He will lead a very talented Richmond squad this season. Look for the 6’5″ prospect to become a household name in the coming months.
Highlights
Howard is one of the better shot-making guards in Indiana’s Class of 2025. The playmaker from Pike High School is a high percentage three-point shooter that puts a ton of pressure on opposing defenses at all times. Look for him to have a breakout junior season for the Red Devils this winter. Howard jumped from #65 to #53 in our prospect rankings.
A personal favorite prospect that continues to fly under-the-radar aside outside of Prep Hoops Indiana coverage, Judge has emerged as a bonafide college prospect that coaches need get on sooner rather than later. He has excellent size and athleticism on the perimeter at 6’5″, shoots it well from beyond the arc, and can play above the rim at the end of his drives. Judge, a Lapel High School product, jumped from #55 to #41 in our rankings with room still to climb.
Arguably the prospect in the state of Indiana that has done the most for himself over the last few months, this 6’4″ athletic, physical wing from Anderson High School jumped from #28 to #14 in our update on Monday. King is a true three-level scorer that played his way into a few Division I offers and should continue to garner more attention through this season. Excellent all-around scorer with all the physical tools you could ask for.
One of the best athletes in Indiana’s Class of 2025, Kirby has started to pair an impressive skill level on the perimeter to go with his elite physical and athletic tools. After an excellent showing at the Fishers High School Combine, Kirby earned an offer from Eastern Illinois. He will be a big piece of what the Tigers do this season. The 6’3″ guard jumped 20 spots from #45 to #25 in this rankings update.
This 6’5″ left-handed sharp-shooter made us look good for moving him up over 30 spots in the prospect rankings by scoring 26 points in Woodlan’s season-opening win over New Haven. Yoder is an excellent shooter for his size with the ability to be a pick-and-pop threat at the next level. He is now ranked #63 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2025 Prospect Rankings.
