Prolific Prep went into the second half up by eight points with big time defense, and their talented scores at work. OSL kept the game close throughout and came out firing on all cylinders in the second half. OSL went on to take the lead late in the third and didn’t look back . OSL got the win over Prolific Prep. Here were some standouts from both teams.
Ian Jackson
Ian Jackson
Jackson rose to the chllenge as he was a big time scorer for OSL throughout the game, especially the second half. He demonstrated his range from long distance a well as is high flying ability. His above the rim prowess provided his time with much need runs and jolts of energy, He ended the game with 32 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
AJ Dybantsa
AJ Dybantsa
Dybantsa showcased his ability to score the ball in multiple ways, while also being able to find his teammates with big time dimes. I was impressed with how unique a player Dybantsa is, he is highly skilled at his size while also displaying a high basketball IQ. His breakdown ability is next level.
Derrion Reid
Derrion Reid
Reid is a special talent that can consistently get to his spots and score the ball. He also showed the ability to dunk it down off the vert, while being able to knock down shots from outside and the mid-range. He is also a tough defender that was able to impact the boards, handle the basketball and set up others.
Elijah Moore
Elijah Moore
Moore showcased his deep range from beyond the arc. Moore also showed the ability to break down his defender and get all the way to the basket and hit the mid range. Moore hit tough shot after tough shot for OSL and was a huge piece in them winning. He ended the game with 27 points.
Eric Mejia
Eric Mejia
Mejia came in the game and changed it completely around for OSL. He finished strong around the basket and handled the ball strongly. Down the stretch Mejia made timely bucket after timely bucket and found open teammates when needed. Mejia’s performance put the nation on notice about the tough NYC PG.
Zoom Diallo
Zoom Diallo
Diallo was a key handler and facilitator for Prolific Prep. Diallo also gets to the basket consistently and can stop on a dime where he showcases the ability to knock down the mid range shot. I was impressed with Diallo’s end to end speed, along with his ability to change speeds.
