This kid put on an absolute clinic with his knockdown jumper inside the arc, quickly putting it up as he looked to penetrate, swiftly stopping on a dime while fluidly going up into his shooting motion. Henderson drilled shots off balance and contested, a skill that will translate effectively at the next level. The mixture of his pull up and his dribble drive kept the defense honest and allowed him to score and move at will. What makes it all so remarkable is that he can do things like this efficiently.
Marri Wickware Marri Wickware 6’4″ | SG Dallas Kimball | 2027 State TX is a player who appears to be undeterred by physicality, both when attacking the rim offensively and when battling for rebounds defensively. He shows great composure and resilience, allowing him to excel in these situations. Wickware’s ability to navigate through traffic and score while absorbing contact is a testament to his soft touch and skill. He remains focused and unfazed even in the face of bumps, pushes, and hard fouls, displaying a locked-in mentality. Wickware is a reliable offensive rebounder who extends plays with his hustle and keen sense for the ball. If Wickware continues to perform at this high of a level throughout the season, he’ll surely be a consistent double-double threat, making a significant impact for his team game after game.
J.J. Hancock is a sophomore recruit possessing both length and agility, making him a threatening on-ball defender. Hancock’s defensive skills are on full display as he forces opposing ball handlers to work tirelessly for every inch of space they can find. His quick and choppy footwork, combined with a wide defensive stance, allows him to cut off driving angles and keep his man confined to a tight space. His speed enables him to beat his opponents to their next spot on the court. Hancock has displayed the ability to shoot effectively when given the space to launch his shot, adding an offensive dimension to his game.
Parker Stribling Parker Stribling CG Cedar Hill | 2024 TX , showcased lethal accuracy off the catch from deep early in the game, hitting back-to-back three-pointers within the first minute of play. His ability to find open shot opportunities was evident as he sprinted full speed, cutting through the lane and moving from one side of the perimeter to the other. Stribling showed a consistent touch from multiple spots beyond the arc, highlighting his extended range.
Fletcher Cravens Fletcher Cravens 5’10” | SG Plano West | 2025 TX , a quick-trigger shooter, showcased his prowess from deep during the second quarter against Cedar Hill. He efficiently nailed two corner threes while spotting up and preparing for the pass. Cravens exhibits the potential to excel in his role as a three-pointer specialist, particularly from the corner where his accuracy seems automatic. His understanding of spacing, cutting, and effective use of screens is evident. Cravens strategically positions himself in the corner after crossing halfcourt, creating opportunities for drives from his guards or swings that shift the defense.
