His outstanding jump-shooting skills were truly intimidating thanks to his quick, fluid catch-and-shoot motion. Despite strong defensive pressure, Guerra consistently managed to release his shot at will and hit the bottom of the net.
6’6” power forward Braydn Alward Braydn Alward 6’6″ | SF Byron Nelson | 2025 TX led Byron Nelson in hustle and scoring with 16 points. He dominated the defense with his overpowering strength, scoring through their defense, beating defenders in the low post with his back-to-the-basket skills, and capitalizing on opportunities with quick putback layups. A true glue guy, Alward did all of the dirty work, even showcasing excellent communication on both ends of the court. His competitive spirit shined bright, evident in his relentless pursuit of the ball, fighting for every rebound, chasing down shots full-court, and saving his team from giving up crucial points, displaying an unwavering motor. I admired the way he competed fiercely until the final buzzer.
D.J. Hall D.J. Hall 6’7″ | PF Plano East | 2025 State #333 Nation TX had an outstanding game, sharing the game-high score of 21 points against the Allen Eagles. Hall exhibited impressive agility and finesse despite his size, moving fluidly and displaying nimble footwork in the post. Hall’s transition game was remarkable, he showcased deceleration techniques at the rim, maneuvering through traffic with step-through and reverse layups, using jump stops, and employing spin moves to get past tight defense. His offensive dominance and versatility was on full display, he even showcased confidence as he put the ball on the floor to get a pull-up jumper from beyond 15 feet on multiple occasions.
