The summer provided a major evaluation windows for prospects looking to make an impression, and several players took full advantage of the opportunity. From live-period performances to high-level tournament play, these prospects consistently showed improvement, production, and the ability to impact games against quality competition. As the summer comes to a close, here are some prospects who did the most to elevate their stock and position themselves for a strong upcoming season.

Very instinctive player who contributed off his feel for the game and scored within the flow of the game. Camran Bateman consistently ran the court with a purpose, trailing the ball and ducking behind defenders with his hands ready to catch and react, showing efficient finishing skills and touch around the rim. He also showed the scoring versatility to operate from the high post, using his footwork to pivot and face up or turn around for the mid-range jumper. At 6'6”, Bateman's motor made him a beast on the boards, exploding and landing with force that turned him into a coast-to-coast nightmare.

Ire Amusan competes relentlessly with a physical post presence, constantly imposing his strength and physicality down low. On both ends, Amusan establishes deep position, plays through contact and uses his bruising style of play to wear down opposing bigs possession after possession.

A natural bucket getter who can beat isolated defenders off the dribble to produce his own shot and convert at all three levels. Using hesitations, a strong first step drive, controlled footwork to create separation, and body control to hang or absorb against defense. Once Jackson gets into the paint, he can finish through contact, in the mid-range he can stop on dime for a pull-up, or punish defenses from beyond the arc. He was just as deadly off the ball, nailing open jumpers and making the most out of space given to him, spotting up and drifting along the wings for drive and kick opportunities. Jackson shows an impressive knack for leaning and shifting his weight on defenders to draw fouls, lock in on the rim, and finish with touch.

Good post presence who provided a strong defensive anchor, communicating, rotating, and covering ground in the paint. On the offensive end, [player_tooltip player_id='2555298' first='Nash' last='Melton'] crashed the boards for second-chance opportunities while setting screens to free guards above the perimeter. He had a glue-guy effect on the game, showing strong instincts with his movements and understanding when to cut and facilitate within the offense to keep it flowing. Melton's willingness to make winning plays without needing the ball consistently adds value to his team on both ends of the floor.

Everything on the offensive end ran through him first, controlling the offense with decision-making that consistently looked to produce the best and highest-percentage shot possible. Johnson's pace with the ball made him tough to defend straight up, constantly changing directions while stopping and going with smooth, heavy steps that kept defenders guessing. He attacked the middle of the lane consistently, using a low dribble to get around his man's hip and into the teeth of the defense for touch finishes with floaters and layups. His creativity off the bounce also highlighted his potential as a playmaker at the next level, as he saw the floor and anticipated defensive rotations well in real time, consistently identifying passing windows before they fully opened.
