They’ll continue their trek as Varsity prospects, some will be starters, other will make their contributions off the bench.
He’s a fast guard with a versatile skill set for the guard position, he’s more of a combo guard right now. He has speed in transition, quality handles, and good passing. He has the ability to generate his own buckets using his speed getting into the paint. He’s lengthy with good movement on the defensive side of the ball. We’ll keep an eye on him.
Highlights
At 6’1 and growing, he’s got good length and an improving set of skills for the guard position. He’s got good hops finishing close to the rim, good foot speed to be a quality on ball defender. He’ll finish strong at the rim in transition including dunks. He’s an improving ball handler, and he’ll shoot 3’s if open. He get rebounds from the guard position.
He’s 6’5 and growing with a frame to fill. Right now he’s a good run and jump prospect with an improving offensive skill set. He’s a lengthy defender with good foot speed and activity in the paint going after rebounds, and blocks. He sprints the court in transition. He’ll finish around the rim, and he has an improving short jumper. He’ll be productive.
He has good fundamentals. He’s a hard playing guard with a solid body to handle physical play. He runs hard to fill lanes in transition. He’s a willing passer, he works and moves well without the ball. At 6’3 he’ll help with the rebounding, he doesn’t mind scrapping for loose balls. He has a jump shot he can hit long and short.
He’s a fast guard that can handle, pass, and shoot. He’s probably a point guard, but works well off ball. He gets out in transition using his speed and quickness to get closer, he can stop on the dime, and hit. He has a mid-range jumper off the dribble that goes in. He’s shown good quickness with his dribble drives to the basket. He has quick feet to stay in front of defenders his size.
Wright has steadily improved his overall game, at 6’3, and growing with a solid body. He’s a scrapper for rebounds on both ends. He works well inside finishing in traffic, taking it up strong off two feet. His jump shot with range is improved. He’s hitting short jumpers, in and around the key, and on occasion he comes down court in rhythm for 3ptrs. He’s a hard playing prospect who’ll be a solid contributor with his varsity squad.
