Lehman has been an incredibly efficient perimeter scorer with Rock Canyon, possessing one of the most consistent jumpers in the state. Capable of heating up from distance, opponents will be forced to stay close to the sharpshooter, given his quick release and height advantage. Lehman has repeatedly shown value hitting three point attempts in droves, particularly effective on catch and shoot opportunities. As well, the guard is showing growth in efficiency scoring at the rim, getting more comfortable scoring through contests or contact. His continued growth handling the ball will be interesting, although he has one of the highest baseline’s among backcourt prospects.
A tall guard, West has been a threat with the ball under a wide variety of circumstances. More than capable of heating up for multiple made shots in a row, the guard is a tough opponent to match up with. Mountain Range boasts plenty of size and skill in their backcourt, West will be a crucial piece of the puzzle. Either off the catch or while stepping into a pull-up, the guard is a dynamic shotmaker, adept at rising into pull-ups within the mid-range. Once at the rim, West can get extended arm finishes around contests, often finding ways to maximize his height advantage within this age group.
Roark is a consistent cover here this summer, particularly due to his willingness to impact the game outside of scoring. Active on second chance opportunities from offensive rebounds, the guard tends to get into the thick of it for physical finishes in the paint. Also active poking away the ball from opposing ball handlers or from strong rips against opponents, the guard welcomes contact. Roark’s growth as a perimeter shooter has been especially intriguing, making himself available on catch and shoot three’s from all over the floor. His impact will be on full display with Stargate, taking on a large role for the program.
Highlights
Headrick is a particularly exciting guard thanks to his athleticism and willingness to be a vertical scorer. Although an excellent above the rim athlete, the guard has shown notable consistency spacing the floor throughout showcase and team events this past summer. Effective rising up into shots following a ball screen or off the catch, Headrick should be a dependable floor spacer over the coming seasons.
Potts is another high motor player with Falcon, bringing plenty of value on the defensive side. Effective reading passing lanes and jumping those for steals, they do an excellent job at leveraging defensive opportunities. The guard will have yet another opportunity to showcase their facilitating ability, working well with a variety of scoring guards this past season with Falcon.
