2024 Top Available Group 1 Prospects

The group still has players available who can make an impact at the next level. Here are the top available 2024 Group 1 prospects.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1153952' first='Eunique' last='Rink'], 6'9 C College Achieve</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rink is the top available prospect in Group 1 and is in line for a big 2023-24 season. The 6'9 post swats almost everything around the basket and rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor. Rink is able to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. He is able to draw contact down low and has a high release on his free throws. Rink is one of the top rim-protectors in the class and will be a load on the block for the Knights this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1051496' first='Merle' last='Hans'], 5'10 PG Wildwood</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hans has been a key part of Wildwood's offense for the past two seasons and will do so again in his senior season. The 5'10 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and can finish in a number of ways around the basket. Hans doesn't get rattled by on-ball pressure and can make opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He is an underrated passer and gets deflections on the defensive end to generate turnovers. Hans has poured in over 1,100 points in his varsity career and should eclipse the 1,500-point mark in 2023-24.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1214158' first='Anthony' last='Farmer'], 5'10 PG Salem</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Farmer will be running the Rams' offense once again this season as he is looking to lead them to a deep postseason run. The 5'10 guard has a good first step as he gets to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact. Farmer can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He is a strong rebounder for a guard his size and slides his feet on defense. The 6'4 forward has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. Hibbert uses his strong frame to draw contact down low and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. The 6'0 guard has a nice handle as he can blow by his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Gee has a good touch on his floater and can also play off the ball. He pushes the ball well in transition and is a tough on-ball defender.
