The start of the 2023-24 season is a little over a month away and as fall leagues wrap up, the Class of 2025 rankings have been updated and released. There are a number of new names added to the list from last time - here's a look at the top ones outside of the ones that debuted in the top ten.

22 - [player_tooltip player_id='1953756' first='Quincy' last='Byas'], Rosemary Anderson Prep

Byas was a bit off our radar playing JV at Jesuit last season but quickly jumped onto the scene playing summer AAU basketball with the Rose City Rebels. He's long and athletic at 6-foot-5, really finishes at the rim, and can knock down open shots. Byas made the decision to transfer to Rosemary Anderson Prep where he'll further develop his physique and hone his ball skills at a high level.

33 - [player_tooltip player_id='1770295' first='Will' last='Jenson'], Caldera

We honestly didn't know much about Jenson, so we touched base with our colleague Gregg Rosenberg from PrepHoops Arizona for an evaluation. He indicated the 6-foot-7 forward, who played JV at powerhouse Brophy Prep, is a high-academic forward who runs the floor pretty well and is a solid rebounder and shot-blocker. He was ranked in the 80s in prep school-heavy Arizona which seemed to translate into a Top 40 ranking in Oregon.

45 - [player_tooltip player_id='1952413' first='Cody' last='Siegner'], Crane

It's not often a 1A player gets ranked in the Top 50 but Siegner is certainly worthy of the listing. We saw the 6-foot-6 post player in the Crusader Classic over the holidays last season and he immediately impressed us with his strength and power around the basket as he was virtually unstoppable in the paint. He's a standout football player getting recruited at the D-I level as well.

49 - [player_tooltip player_id='1957065' first='Jehiel' last='Brown'], Roosevelt

Brown largely was in the background for most of his sophomore season but got some playing time late in the year. We watched him perform in a late-year win over McDaniel and liked his athleticism and willingness to hit the boards. There's going to be a battle for frontcourt playing time this season with the Roughriders and we fully expect the 6-foot-5 forward to be in the mix.

58 - [player_tooltip player_id='1953757' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'], Cascade

Playing behind a talented senior cast, Ford was a key guy off the bench. The lefty combo guard showed a knack for scoring, whether it was draining the open three or creating off the dribble and getting to the hoop. He'll have a much bigger role on the 2023-24 squad, likely in the starting lineup as the team seeks its third consecutive 4A title.

74 - [player_tooltip player_id='2204993' first='Jaxson' last='Spafford'], Milwaukie

A transfer from Putnam, Spafford goes from what likely would have been a supporting role into a potential go-to guy with the Mustangs. He fits the description of "a bucket" as the 5-foot-10 combo guard can simply score with a quick trigger and soft touch from three and the willingness to drive and finish amongst the trees.

80 - [player_tooltip player_id='2244055' first='Ahshua' last='Neal'], Centennial

Previously at Oregon City, Neal moves from JV with the Pioneers to what may be a key varsity role with Centennial. At 6-foot-5 he's the size at either wing or forward to present a matchup problem for opponents with his ability to score both inside and out.

84 - [player_tooltip player_id='2055470' first='Seth' last='Johnson'], Rosemary Anderson Prep

Johnson largely played JV last season at Tigard. He's 6-foot-8, long, athletic, and runs the floor well. He's developing his offensive game this year and getting valuable practice time against big and athletic players at Rosemary Anderson Prep.
