As we get set for the start of the season in just a month and a half, the Class of 2024 rankings have been updated and released. There are a number of new names added to the list from last time - here's a look at the top ones.

8 - [player_tooltip player_id='1502774' first='Channing' last='Cade'], Rosemary Anderson Prep

Cade comes to Oregon from California as a member of the new prep school in Portland. The 6-foot-7 forward is long, athletic, finishes at the rim, and blocks shots. While we have seen him only briefly - mostly on tape, but also live at one practice and one scrimmage - it's clear his athletic potential and possible D-I recruitment warrants him a Top Ten ranking to kick off his career in-state.

11- [player_tooltip player_id='986967' first='Javares' last='Reid'], Rosemary Anderson Prep

Another addition to the rankings thanks to the prep school, Reid comes to Portland from Las Vegas. The 6-foot-9 big man is tough around the hoop on both ends and has a decent mid-range jumper from what we've seen on tape and limited live action. There is a possibility that he will reclassify to the Class of 2025.

63 - [player_tooltip player_id='2204432' first='Aidan' last='Griess'], Hidden Valley

A hidden gem down in 4A in Southern Oregon, Griess immediately caught our eye when we saw him at the PrepHoops Oregon Top 250 Expo at Hillsboro High School. The 6-foot-4 swingman can really get downhill in transition and finish at the rim and has a sweet stroke from beyond the three-point line.

77 - [player_tooltip player_id='1958223' first='Noah' last='Holub'], Valley Catholic

While his college sport may end up being football, Holub has been a valuable member of the Valley Catholic basketball team, especially with his ability to rebound the basketball - of which he did so at a double-digit clip. With added scoring responsibilities, he'll be a key guy this upcoming season for the Valiants.

80 - [player_tooltip player_id='1953760' first='Hunter' last='Dunham'], Sandy

Long, lanky, and athletic at 6-foot-6, Dunham first made an impression on us during the 2022-23 season and then again running with the Rose City Rebels AAU squad in the spring and summer. The senior finishes well at the rim in transition but also has a nice-looking jumper out past the three-point line.

83 - [player_tooltip player_id='2123370' first='Kellen' last='Kinder'], Valley Catholic

Kinder first caught our attention playing this spring with DENY Basketball. The developing big man moves and runs the floor well and at the PrepHoops Top 250 Expo in the fall, showed a knack for protecting the paint as a shot-blocker.

87 - [player_tooltip player_id='1958224' first='Miles' last='Berry'], Central Catholic

Central Catholic has a number of star players, but it's the presence and contributions of Berry that may take them to the promised land. The 6-foot-3 swingman brings motor and toughness to the table and his physicality will be key to helping out on the boards and on defense.

89 - [player_tooltip player_id='2056360' first='Cole' last='Javernick'], Tualatin

Javernick got spot minutes last season as a reserve on Tualatin's title team but should have a much more prominent role as a senior. At 6-foot-4, he brings good size and athleticism on the wing, the ability to create off the dribble and defend multiple positions.
